FORMAT OF PLAY:
The 2016 USTA National Women's Intersectional Team Event to be held in San Antonio, TX: The format for play is as follows:
>Women's 80 event: 1 Singles and 2 Doubles per team match. The minimum number for Women's 80 team will be 4 and the maximum number of players allowed remains at 6.. This is being done to allow more players on a team to be available to play thus hedging against defaults due to injury and conditioning. This is to promote play!
>Women's 75 event: 2 Singles and 2 Doubles per team match. The minimum number of players is 4 and the maximum number is 6.
>Women's 35, 45, 55, and 65 events: 3 singles and 2 doubles per team match.The minimum number of players is 4 and the maximum number is 7.

HILTON GARDEN INN - Official Overflow Hotel for Rooms with 2 Bed:
Reservations at the Embassy Suites has been so good since the "SAVE THE DATE" was sent out, that all the suites with 2 beds available within the room block were reserved; therefore, the HILTON GARDEN INN, just 2.2 miles from the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Airport is the Official Overflow Hotel for rooms with 2 beds. Note that every room comes with 2 Queen Beds and breakfast is included in the rate which is the same as the Embassy Suites. Call soon as reservation must be made and guaranteed prior to October 5, 2016. All rooms will be released back to the hotels on that date. The USTA room block is subject to availability, so make your reservation early.

Important Notice: The "Early Bird Discount Registration Deadline" has been extended from September 14, 2016 to September 21, 2016. Please get your teams together and send the information in with your check for $115 per player/Non-Playing Coach. The entry fee per player/Non-Playing Coach is $130 if you cannot make the new extended deadline. Also, remember that the final deadline is October 5, 2016.
