Tournament Messages
1. Tournament desk phone: Luis Brest – 954-394-5348. Email with any questions

2. Please report at least 15 minutes before start time and be ready to play.
It will be a long walk to the tournament desk from parking lot, please plan
your arrival time accordingly.
3. Chairs for spectators: we suggest bringing folding chairs. Chairs are
available for players.
4. Food and drinks will be available at Midtown Café and/or a Drinks and
snacks station (only cash) next to the tournament desk. NO OUTSIDE FOOD
ALLOWED ON THE CLUB PREMISES.
5. Racquet stringing will be available onsite: $18 per racquet with your own
string. Please leave the racquets at the front desk.
6. Practice courts will be on a very limited basis. Options for practice
courts are: WESTON HILLS CC, WESTON TENNIS CENTER, MARKHAM PARK (Hard
courts). Some fees may apply.
7. Fruits and ice provided.
8. Tournament players and guests are not allowed to use the gym equipment at
any time.
10. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING ALLOWED TO THE CLUB.

Florida Residency Requirements for this Tournament
Players and their parents are required to be permanent residents of Florida in order to be eligible for this level tournament. Paperwork (as per the link) proving the parents and player are permanent residents must be RECEIVED in the USTA Florida office and APPROVED three weeks from the start date of the Level 3, 4, or 5 tournament, Players wishing to check their approval can check the Tentative Ranking list published approximately 16 days before the start of the tournament.

Players finishing #1 or #2 in the main draw 12s, 14s, and 16s of a 3, 4, or 5 will be eligible for an automatic entry into the next scheduled Level 3, 4, or 5 in the next higher age division. The automatic entry must be in the month directly following the tournament where the player reached the finals. If a player reaches the final in February, the automatic entry can ONLY be in March. For example; Player finishes #2 in the February L5 14S, They would be eligible for automatic entry into the March 16s Level 4. The player must enter through Tennis Link and be registered before the deadline to be eligible. Player is also responsible for informing the tournament director of their intent. Players in the 18s, 16s, 14s, and 12s age divisions wanting to be Endorsed by USTA Florida for the USTA Winter National Championships; December 27, 2016; need to play and complete one of the following; September 2016 L4, or October 2016 L5, or November 2016 L5. Default, withdrawal, walkover, injury, and other definitions listed in the Friend at Court do not satisfy USTA Florida’s rules for finishing a tournament.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, November 6, 2016 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
