Due to Saturday night's temperatures dropping below freezing, all Sunday match play is being rescheduled on hard courts. Please check your updated times and site locations carefully as additional new sites have been added. We appreciate your understanding in advance and recognize that match times are tightly scheduled to accommodate available hard courts for use.

DIRECTIONS TO SATELLITE SITES DANIEL ISLAND CLUB 715 Island Park Drive
From the Family Circle Tennis Center parking lot, you turn right. Go about a
1/8 of a mile and make your next right turn at the light onto Island Park Drive.
Go straight through two round-abouts. Take next right into the Park Club. Tennis
courts on your left. DANIEL ISLAND CLUB DRESS CODE Proper tennis
attire is required. If you are scheduled for matches at the DI Club, you cannot
wear a cotton tee shirt on the tennis courts. Dry fit crew neck and collared
tennis shirts are allowed. No outside food is allowed.

LIVE TO PLAY (LTP) 1513 Mathis Ferry Road Mt. Pleasant
From Family Circle Tennis Center, turn left onto Seven Farms Drive. Go ¼ mile
to the stoplight and make a right hand turn onto River Landing Drive. This road
will take you onto I-526 going east. Go 3 miles and take the Long Point exit.
Make a left at the light. Go to the 4th stop light (1/2 mile) and turn right
onto Whipple Road. Continue straight turning right at 2nd traffic light onto
Mathis Ferry Road. Live to Play will be on the left.

From
Family Circle Tennis Center, turn left onto Seven Farms Drive. Go ¼ mile to the
stoplight and turn right onto River Landing Drive. This road will take you onto
I-526 going east. Go 3 miles and take the Long Point exit. Make a left at the
light. Go to the 4th stop light (1/2 mile) and turn right onto Whipple Road.
Continue straight through first traffic light, then turn right into tennis
center.

526 East onto US17 South via Exit 30 towards Charleston

straight on US17 South (Savannah Hwy) past St. Andrews Shopping Center.
Go through lights for Magnolia Avenue and Coburg Avenue staying in left
lane. Turn left onto Farmfield Avenue. Courts are on the right.

Follow directions to Charleston Tennis Center directions. Once on US17 South past St. Andrews Shopping Center stay in the right lane and turn right on W. Oak Forest Drive (just past Farmfield Avenue) which becomes Playground Road. Tennis courts are on the left just before Highway 61.

526 East onto US17 South via Exit 30 towards Charleston
Continue
straight through Mt. Pleasant crossing over the Ravenel Bridge into
Charleston. Continue on US17 South toward Savannah keeping left as you
cross over the Passailaigue Bridge and onto the Ashley River Bridge. Stay
in the left lane and bear left at the fork towards Folly Beach
continuing straight through traffic light onto Albemarle Road. Continue straight and tennis courts will be on the right just past the football field.

DUNLOP, THE OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT BALL

PLAYER FIRST MATCH CHECK-IN
All players must initially check in at the Family Circle Tennis Center at
least one half hour PRIOR to their first scheduled match. First matches will
begin at 5:00 pm on Friday for doubles and 8:00 am on Saturday morning for singles. Early check-in is encouraged and will be
available on Friday, February 12th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. If you do not
arrive on Friday before 7:00 pm, you MUST check in at Family Circle Tennis
Center at least one half hour prior to your first match. After initial check-in,
all players should report directly to designated sites for scheduled matches.
MANDATORY USTA and FAMILY CIRCLE TENNIS CENTER RELEASE forms must be signed by
each player's parent/guardian prior to first match.

SELECTION PROCESS
Current Southern standings shall be used to determine the entries with
1/8 of
the draw coming from the next lower age group in the top 40 in a
selection of
32, and the remainder from the age group of the event. USTA Southern will
provide the acceptance list.

MUSC HEALTH SPORTS MEDICINE
An Athletic Trainer Certified from MUSC Sports Medicine will be
available at the Family Circle Tennis Center throughout the tournament.

A stringer will be available throughout the weekend.

PLAYING FORMAT AND SCORING FOR BOYS' AND GIRLS' 10s and 8s
Boys' and Girls' 10s will play the best of three short sets (first to
four and win by two) with a set tiebreak (first to 7 points and win by 2) played
in lieu of a third set and full feed in through Quarterfinals. Play will be on a
court size of 60 feet with orange low compression balls and players must use 25"
junior racquets. Boys' and Girls' 8s Round Robin format is the best of
3 games with the first to score 7 points winning the game. An additional game to
7 points will be played if players split. Matches will be played on 36 foot
courts with red low compression balls using 23" racquets.

SEEDING
Seeding shall follow the USTA Southern Section seeding regulations and will be provided by Southern with the selection list. Players selected on their 10s standing shall not be considered for seeding in the 12s division.

PLAYING FORMAT FOR BOYS' 12-18s AND GIRLS' 12-18s SINGLES
For Boys' 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s and Girls' 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s draws, 32 players
will be selected for each event and then be split into two Draws of 16 players
using the Waterfall System for selection with a full feed in Consolation through
the Quarters and 3/4 playoff. The best two out of three sets with a ten point
tiebreak in lieu of a third set will be played.

SOUTHERN CRITERIA FOR 11 & UNDER GREEN BALL STA LEVEL 3 EVENTS
After September 1, 2015 all players aged 11 & under will be
required to play green ball to reach the benchmark of 300 in the 12U
Division in order to progress to 12U yellow ball play. When the top 300
benchmark is reached, players will be added to the Top 300 12U Benchmark
Players.
Amendment as of 10/20/2015: Players will be considered eligible for the 12U Yellow ball division under the following circumstances:
a.) Reach top 300 Benchmark in 12U Standings, which will now be posted twice monthly
b.) Reach Top 300 in most recently published 12U Southern Standings at the time of selection
Note: Age-eligible 11U players who have reached the Top 300
Benchmark may participate in the 11U Green division. This change was put
in effect May 19, 2015 for tournaments through December 31, 2015.
1. Points for the 11 & under Green division will be awarded
STA L4 Points for the Feed In Thru Quarterfinals table. 2. One player from the top 20 of the 10 and under standings will be included in the draw of eight.
3. Player must be 11 & under and sign up for this tournament
in the “12 & Under Green Ball Division”. Players who are not
age-eligible to participate will be moved into the 12 & Under Yellow
Ball Division where they fall on the list.
4. Players may enter both 11 & under green and 12 & under
yellow. When selections are made, the 12 and under yellow is selected
first, and if the player is selected, he/she is removed from
consideration for the 11U green.

DOUBLES REGISTRATION ID # 700016116 OPENS FEBRUARY 8 AND CLOSES FEBRUARY 9
Registration for Doubles begins on Monday, February 8, after the close of Singles registration. Doubles play will begin at 5pm on Friday, February 12, with all Friday night doubles matches played out of Family Circle Tennis Center, LTP, and Mt.Pleasant Rec Whipple. Doubles matches will continue on Saturday and Sunday at your designated Main Draw Singles match site. Every player who
signs up for doubles must be available to play 5pm matches on Friday. Doubles format will be 8 game pro set with single elimination for Boys and Girls 12s - 18s. Boys and Girls 10s will play 6 game set. All
players who register for Singles and Doubles must play in the same age
division.

WITHDRAWALS
Withdrawal prior to entry deadline must be done by the player: Go
to the Tournament website and click "EDIT REGISTRATION" on the right
side of your screen then "Withdraw". Your credit card is not processed until the selection process occurs after registration closes; therefore, there is no refund. Withdrawal after entry deadline: Immediately contact the tournament referee Meg Farrelly via email megphotogirl@aol.com to withdraw from the tournament. Please include the player's name, division, and WITHDRAWAL on the email subject line and provide a reason for the withdrawal in the email. DO NOT call to withdraw. There are no refunds for withdrawals after the
registration deadline of Sunday, February 7.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. Please consult your Section or District rules and regulations for entry requirements for this tournament. If you enter this tournament and are not eligible, any refund is as the discretion of the Tournament Director. Only USTA members can register online if available.
