Tournament Selection Process and Draw Sizes
Men's Open Singles will be limited to 32 players. Men's Open Doubles will be limited to 16 teams.
To be considered for selection and/or seeding into Men's Open divisions please submit current playing record to Tournament Director at ross.wisser@bayclubs.com
All other divisions may be limited based on total number of entrants.

Prize Money
The Men's Open Singles and Doubles draws will be prize money events. Breakdown of round by round prize money events is available by e-mailing the Tournament Director.

Match Formats
Men's Open Singles: Best 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets, regular scoring. Men's Open Doubles: Best 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set, no-ad scoring. All Other Divisions: Best 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set, regular scoring.

Playing Surface and Tournament Ball
All Men's Open matches will be played
indoors. All other divisions will primarily play indoors but some
matches may be moved outdoors if needed. Please be prepared for either
possibility.
The tournament will be played with Pro Penn Marathon Extra Duty tennis balls throughout the event.

Schedule of Play
-Men's Open Singles and Doubles will be played from Thursday May 19th - Sunday May 22nd. -All other draws will play Friday May 20th - Sunday May 22nd.
SCHEDULE OF PLAY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME, PLEASE CHECK DRAWS TO CONFIRM MATCH TIME SCHEDULES
Thursday 5/19: Men's Open Singles, two rounds with first matches starting at Noon. Friday 5/20: Men's Open Doubles, one round starting at 6 PM. Men's Open Quarter Finals at 9 PM. NTRP and Women's Open division starting at 7:30 PM. Saturday 5/21: Men's Open Doubles Quarter Finals at Noon and Semi Finals at 4 PM. Men's Open Singles Semi Finals at 8 PM. NTRP Divisions and Women's Open starting at 2 PM. Player Party at 5:30 PM. Sunday 5/22: Men's Open Doubles Final at 2 PM. Men's Open Singles Final at 6 PM. NTRP Divisions and Women's Open final rounds through the day.

All NTRP Players Must Have an NTRP Rating
All players participating in a USTA NorCal sanctioned NTRP tournament must have an NTRP rating. If you do not have an NTRP rating, please click "more info" to obtain a self-rating.

Concurrent Tournament Rule
A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation, concurs in writing, and each agrees to accommodate the player’s schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with overlapping dates without permission. If a player violates this concurrent tournament rule ranking points earned in any concurrent tournament played will not count toward ranking or the Grand Prix Points Race and the concurrent tournaments will not count toward the minimum tournament requirement to qualify for Grand Prix.

outdoor/nighttime play.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, May 5, 2016 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
