TennisPlex Welcomes All L8 End of Summer L8
PlayersTournament informationWe are excited for the
start of the TennisPlex End of Summer L8. This tournament will be a
first tournament for many players -- please don't be afraid to ask
questions! The goal of this tournament is to teach our players how
to play a tournament in a fun and encouraging manner. All players
will have at least 2 matches scheduled. Win or lose, players need
to check-in with the tournament desk at the end of their match.
Players will have another match soon after each match is
completed.. Players will play shortened scoring matches-- we will
play matches consisting of 1 set each and "no-ad" scoring (at
deuce, the next point will win the game). 10 and under will play
short sets up to 4 with no ad scoring. 12 and under players will
play one set no ad scoring with a 7 pt tiebreaker at 6 all.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you learn how to use/check the tournament
TENNISLINK webpage. This is where you will find match times, draws,
schedules, and any other information that the tournament needs to
communicate to the players. It is the players responsibility to
keep up with updates on this page-- you should get in the habit of
checking it several times a day. If weather changes the match
schedule, or a player gets sick and your match time changes-- this
is how the tournament communicates with the players.
Normally the draws will be posted on the webpage. Draws
are available by going to draw tab and pulling down your
category.10 and under play will start at 9 am on Sunday- All
players need to check in at 9 am.12 boys and Under Play will
start at 1 pm on Sunday-All players need to check in at
1pm.12 Girls and under play will start at 1:30 pm on Sunday-
All players need to check in at 1:30pm. Matches will be put on
when courts are available. Don't forget to check the tournament
website often! If draws have to be changed, players are responsible
for all info on the TennisLink homepage. Please Click Here for the
tournament homepage. We recommend checking before you go to sleep
and throughout each day. Please arrive at least 20 minute early to
check-in for your match. The tournament desk will be located near
the outdoor courts or inside bubble 2.When players have checked in,
they need to stay close to the tournament desk. The tournament
staff can not chase players down. By leaving the tournament desk
area, the player risks a possible default from their match!

available on our indoor courts but not on our outdoor courts. We
are a green facility and do not provide cups.Be sure your tennis
shoes are non marking. Please fill out the attached release and
