***Day 6 Schedule and Rain Provisions *** Possible Grass Court Play ***
Good Evening Players. Thank you for a wonderful tournament. It was a pleasure working with you again this year. All the best on a successful day tomorrow and the rest of the year. Peter Ross will assume directorship for tomorrow and Sunday. Due to the significant rain forecast, arrangements have been made for indoor play. The hard courts were not available until 400pm therefore we will play the matches on indoor clay. Peter Ross's direct number is (248) 885-7375 should you have any questions or the weather has changed for the better. The first set of three matches will begin at 10am.
We will use the followed by system: On Court 1 Crabel v Robinson to be followed by Bennett/Smith v Budde/Crowell to be followed by (not before 230pm) Persons/Robinson v Reynard/Winkler.to be followed by (not before 430pm) P. Moss v Winkler. On Court 2 (10am) Buyckx v Persons to be followed by Vines v B. Moss to be followed by Winner of Webb v Chase v Ljungman to be followed by (not before 300pm) Cash/Vines v Hessler/Tyrell On Court 3 Webb v Chase to be followed by Lucci v Markes to be followed by (not before 230pm) Stanley v Smith
Obviously, the involvement of players in both singles and doubles, and the limitations of the indoor court availability, forced our hand on this schedule. Please stay in touch with Peter in case the grass courts are not too wet, and potentially playable in the afternoon. I hope you have a good evening.
