Thank you for playing

We apologize for the delays on Saturday, but the Futures Tournament was the largest that we had ever hosted and we did not anticipate that the Orange Ball would take so long.

Seeding Posted
Seeding has been posted for draws. G12 Qualified and G14SC will be Round Robins.
|
Qualified Draws
In order to create draws for as many players as possible, Champ and SuperChamp players have been combined to form Qualified Draws in B12, G12, G16 and G18.
|
Ineligible Players
Because the Garland ISD changed its policy about use of High School courts, we had to cancel the Break-It-Out Challenger Level tournament. Therefore, several Challenger Level players signed up for this tournament which is for Champ or SuperChamp Qualified players only. These players have been withdrawn from this tournament by the tournament administration and will be mailed a $35 refund (entry fee minus USTA processing fee).

Excessive Overrule Guideline: The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."

Inappropriate umpire/spectator communication, whether it be about a ruling or any other facet of a tennis event is prohibited while a match is in progress. Being a parent, coach, etc. does not endow special privileges. With the only exception of the right to remove their own child from competition at any time, a parent or coach is merely a spectator.
