L5 Singles Championship events award New England points per round only. Draw size is 24 players. Format is Single Elimination with quarterfinal losers playing off for 5th/6th place and semifinal losers playing off for 3rd/4th place.All main draw (incl. 3rd/4th playoff) matches are best two out of three tiebreak sets (set tie break is first to 7 points by 2 points and will be used in all sets reaching six games all). All 5th/6th place playoff matches are best two out of three sets with a match tiebreak (first to 10 points by 2 points ) in lieu of the third set.
The Tournament Director will honor match time preferences due to conflicts. All such requests must be made by email by 2:00 pm Monday February 20th, 2017

ONCE PLAYERS ARE SELECTED FOR THIS L3/L4/L5 event, players on the ALTERNATE LIST MAY NOTIFY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR AND WITHDRAW AS AN ALTERNATE, AND THEN REGISTER FOR AN L6 EVENT (if scheduled) on the same weekend, as it will have a later close of registration (Monday 11:59PM). A player who registers for such an L6 event MUST FIRST CONTACT the L3/L4/L5 tournament director to withdraw from the Alternate List.
