11/24: Due to a seeded player withdrawing from the G14 Division, we have revised the draw to reflect the new seeds. Please check the draw for your match time or new line on the draw.
Draws will be posted Wednesday (11/23) by 5:00 pm. Match play will begin Friday (11/25) with Doubles at 9:00 am.

WITHDRAWING FROM A TOURNAMENT - WRITTEN VERIFICATION
Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline:
Go to the Tournament website under "EDIT REGISTRATION" on the right
side of your screen and click "Withdraw". From there you can
withdraw. If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate
Confirmation" just below "Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you, you
must do this yourself. You will lose the entry fee if you do not withdraw
online before registration closes.
Withdrawal After Entry Deadline:
Immediately contact the Tournament Director to withdraw from the tournament.
You must email your withdrawal to mfaughnan@augustaga.gov; DO NOT call to withdraw. If the player is not playing because of an
injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical
professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. There
are No refunds.
All withdrawals for reasons other than illness, injury, and personal
circumstances or withdrawals for any reason without the proper written
notification are actually defaults and Code of Conduct Reports will be
completed for each defaulting player even though an alternate may take that
defaulting player’s place in the draw.
Withdrawing During the Tournament:
You must see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee at Newman Tennis Center. Do not tell just anyone at
the desk and think you have properly withdrawn from the tournament. Unless you
speak to the Head Referee in person, it will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE
PHONE! If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the
player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a
medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament OR
a visit with the onsite trainer will suffice.

PLAYER REGISTRATION & MEETING
The tournament will start Friday Nov. 25th and end on Sunday
the 27th. Thursday (Nov. 24th): Practice - 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm; Early Registration will be from 4:00
to 6:00 pm. Player Meeting at 5:30 pm. Friday (Nov. 25th): Check In if you do not register on Thursday - you must register 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST MATCH. Players are responsible to abide by all the information
provided in the player packet.

ALTERNATES & LATE ENTRY REQUESTS
Late Entry Requests No Late Entry requests will be accepted after 12:00 pm on Wednesday (11/23). As of 11/21/16 there are 5 open spots for B14s and 1 open spot for G14s. As of 11/18/16 there are 5 open spots for B14s; there are no open spots for G14s. As of 11/11/16 there are 5 open spots for B14 Main Draw and 3 open spots for G14 Main Draw. All Alternates on the published list were contacted and have responded with acceptance or declines. Those who have not responded have been removed from the Alternate's List. Alternates List (10/31/16) B14 Division: At this time we are accepting all players that have been listed on the Alternates list into the Main Draw. We will also be accepting late entries for those that did not register prior to the deadline. To register for the tournament you must contact the Tournament Director (Margaret Faughnan) at mfaughnan@augustaga.gov with your request. G14 Division: At this time we are accepting all players listed on the Alternates list into the Main Draw. Alternates who are also on the concurrent National Selection List must commit to either event by the Freeze Deadline (11/9). We will continue to take Late Entry requests and place on the Alternates List as we expect to have openings. Please contact the Tournament Director (Margaret Faughnan) at mfaughnan@augustaga.gov with your request.

DOUBLES - ENTRY & CONTACT INFORMATION
To enter into the doubles: All players must e-mail the Tournament Director,
Margaret Faughnan at MFaughnan@augustaga.gov after the singles selection
process is complete. The Doubles entry
deadline is Friday, 11/18/16 at noon.
Registering online does NOT guarantee a spot in the doubles draw. To enter with
a partner BOTH players must confirm
their partner's name in the email. Those who need a partner should also enter
via email stating they need a partner. Although it is not the responsibility of
the tournament committee to match a player with a partner, we will do our best
to help pair as many players as possible. Failure to submit the doubles entry
via email will result in the players not being entered into the doubles draw.
Share Contact Information Form: If you do not have a partner and would like to have us share your contact information with other players (that also are sharing their information) please send a request to the Tournament Director for a Share Contact Information form. Fill it out and return it to the TD. Each day or when there are at least 2 players in an event that have sent in their information we will send contact information to those players that are sharing their information.

FREEZE DEADLINE
The
Freeze Deadline is November 9th. Prior to this date, players may appear on the
acceptance list of one event while remaining as an alternate at other sites. On
the freeze deadline players must commit to either playing in the event or

PLAYER MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
The USTA requires a medical release SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR
GUARDIAN for every player. This form must be presented at the time of
tournament registration. Players are not allowed on court without this signed
release. Please click on the link and print your Medical Release form
before you check in for the tournament.

DRAW & MATCH FORMAT
Draw Size: The singles draw shall have 32 players; the
doubles draw shall have 16 teams.
Singles FIC: The singles draw have a Feed-In Consolation (FIC) that feeds players in
through the Round of 16. The FIC shall be played to completion. The FIC shall
be considered part of the tournament and participation is mandatory for all singles players.
Singles & Doubles: The main draw singles shall have a playoff for 3rd and 4th place. All players are required to play the third and fourth place playoff.
Match Formats
• Main Draw Singles (including play off for 3rd & 4th place): Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets • Feed-In Championship Matches and Quarterfinal Playoff Matches (5th & 6th place): Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd Set. • Doubles Matches: 8 Game Pro Set with a 7-Point Tiebreak at 8 games all.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY
The USTA Junior Competition has set forth a standardized schedule of play and it will be as follows: Day 1 (Friday): Round of 32 and Round of 16 Singles, Round 1 Consolation and Round of 16 Doubles. Day 2 (Saturday): QF & SF Singles; Round 2 & QF FIC, Round 1 QF Playoff; QF & SF Doubles. Day 3 (Sunday): Finals & 3/4 Playoffs Singles and Doubles; SF & Finals FIC, 5th /6th QF Playoff.
Play to begin @ 9:00 am each day (subject to change).

DIRECTIONS & PRACTICE SITES
When you check in for the tournament we will give you a map with directions to Hotels, Restaurants and other practice sites.

ON-SITE ALTERNATES
If you want to be an on-site alternate, you must first email the Tournament
Referee, Karen Badger-Mabry, at khmabry@hotmail.com. Then please check in at the Tournament Desk
30 minutes before the first match starts in the division for which you are an
alternate. If a spot becomes available players will be selected using the
original alternate list, not by the order in which players check in.

DRAWS
The
Singles Draws will be made on Monday, November 21st at 12:00 PM EST and posted online Wednesday, November 23rd by 5:00 pm. The Doubles Draws will be made on Wednesday, November 23rd and posted online by 5:00 pm.

ATHLETIC TRAINER
There will be a trainer available at NTC 30 minutes prior to the start of matches and throughout the day.

TOURNAMENT STRINGER
On-site stringing will be available throughout the tournament.

Traveling to Augusta by Air
If you decide to fly to the tournament and are looking for
airports, please consider flying directly into Augusta or using the Columbia,
SC airports.

DRESS CODE
The Tournament committee has set A dress code in this
Tournament The Rules to which all
participants are expected to adhere.
These Rules are based on our community standards and all participants
must observe, all rules, at all of the sites used during the tournament. Good manners on and off the court will be
required of all participants, coaches and family at all times.
Proper
tennis attire should be worn. For
females, proper attire does not include, roll down waist bands on skirts or
shorts, or exposure of skin between tops and skirts or shorts. For males proper attire does not include tank
tops or sleeveless shirts, or shorts worn below the waist. Shirts must be worn at all times. Please respect our standards and adhere to
our rules. Failure to do so will result
in the player being required to change prior to the match. This delay may result in penalties (PPS) being
assessed.
