Hotel Information
The Boston Marriot Newton in Newton, Ma 800-228-9290 or
617-969-1000 and the The Marriot Courtyard in Natick, Ma
508-655-6100 or 800-321-2211. The rate at the Boston Marriot
Newton, 2345 Commonwealth Aven, Newton, Mass is $139 per night and
the Marriot Courtyard , 342 Speen Street, Natick, Mass is $104 per
night, plus applicable taxes. Be sure to identify yourself as a
member of the Longfellow Club-National Selection Participant when
making reservations. These are the only two tournament hotels.
Reservations must by made by Wednesday, November 16th to secure the
rates. Other hotels in the Framingham-Natick area are Sheraton
Tara, Crowne Plaza and Hampton Inn. The club is located 20 miles
west of Boston and there are hotel's available. Please click here

Practice Courts
Practice Courts will be available at both the Natick and
Longfellow Clubs on Wednesday Night, Thursday at Wayland only.
(8am-Noon), Friday AM, Saturday AM, Sunday AM and Monday AM. You
may reserve 1 hour of Court time each day at no charge during these
times. If you need additional time, the cost is $40 per hour. We
reserve the right to have other kids hit on the court with you
(limit 4 per court). We also have a hitting court after the am that
is first come-first serve with no reservations. We encourage you to
share courts whenever possible. Tournament Director, Phil Parrish,
will help you find a practice partner. If you want a hitting lesson
with a Longfellow Pro. please let Phil know and he will set it up.
The cost is $90 per hour. Reservations can be made for court time,
lessons, and practice partners November 15th. You can reserve
courts at Natick Racket Club on the 15th by calling 508-653-4606

Playing Location AddressesThe Longfellow Club in Wayland is

Natick Racquet Club in Natick is located at 16 Michgan Dr in
Natick. 508-653-4606.The Marriot Newton is 20 minutes away from the
sites and the Courtyard is 10-15 minutes away.
Doubles InformationThe doubles draw will be 32 teams. We do not
close doubles until noon on Friday, so you have time to find a
partner and sign up. If you do have a partner or find one before
the tournament, please make sure we have it listed.
Check In TimeCheck In Time is Friday, one hour before your first
match. Please have your waiver form ready.

Official Ball - WilsonThe official ball for the USTA National
Selection Tournament is the Wilson Hard Court Xtra Duty
Ball.
Draw SizesAll singles draws shall be 64 players. Doubles draw
shall be 32 team maximum.Match FormatAll main draws (and 3rd and
4th place playoff) shall be 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets. All Feed In
Consolation Matches: Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets with a 10 point TB in
lieu of a 3rd set.Doubles Matches: 8 Game Pro Set with a 7 point
tiebreak at 8 games all.
Singlee Feed In Consolation InformationAll singles draws will
have a feed in consolation that feeds players through the round of
16. The quarterfinal losers will be fed into a separate draw to
playoff for 5th and 6th place. The FIC must be played to
completion. The FIC is considered part of the tournament and
participation is mandatory for all singles main draw
players.Singles and Doubles 3rd-4th Place Playoffs RequiredAll
singles and doubles draws shall have a playoff for 3rd and 4th
place. All players are required to play the 3rd-4th place
playoff.

The Longfellow CafeThe Longfellow Club Cafe will be open for
healthy breakfast and lunches! The hours are 7-4 Friday and 8-2 on
Saturday and 8-11 on Sunday. There is a lot of options for
restaurants in the area. Please see the front desk at the club for
options.
Player Selection TypeNational Selection Tournament
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 27, 2016 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
