WELCOME TO THE STC JUNIOR OPEN
Welcome to the STC Junior Open. This is a singles tournament for all levels, from 10U to Supers. The main site is STC, which is located at 450 W. Southlake Blvd. inside Bicentennial Park. We have a full service pro shop and 19 lighted courts. We will be using other sites for the tournament.

10U ORANGE/GREEN
The TDM software that runs USTA tournaments does not have the ability to create separate 10U Orange/Green players when there are leveled events in each age group. PLEASE ENTER THE 10U ORANGE LEVEL. IF YOU ARE GREEN LEVEL, YOU WILL BE MOVED. The purpose of the tournament is to get in practice match play for Texas Section Tournaments, so we follow the Challenger, CMZ and SCMZ guidelines.

FORMATS and DIVISIONS FOR PLAY
10U divisions will play first to 4 games, tiebreaker for the third set. Challenger and Champ level players will play 2 sets, no-ad, 10 pt. tiebreaker for the third set. CMZ players will play regular scoring in the semis and finals. SCMZ players will play 2 sets, regular scoring, 10 pt tiebreaker for the third set. If there are not enough players to form separate draws the draws will be combined into Qualified and Non-Qualified divisions.

MATCH CHECK IN Players must check in with the site directors at their scheduled site at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled match time. Players must check in for EACH match at their site. Players are responsible for obtaining their own match times.

WITHDRAWING A PLAYER Players who want to withdraw prior to the entry deadline can do so online at the tournament home page. Players who are withdrawing after the entry deadline must send an e-mail to the tournament director at mia@southlaketennis.com There are no refunds after the entry deadline.

ICE AND WATER We do not have water jugs on the court. Players must bring a water jug with them. We have an ice machine and water dispenser on site.

TENNIS ETIQUETTE
We request that spectators use good sportsmanship when observing matches. This means clapping for good points on both sides and refraining from cheering when opponents make errors. ONLY PLAYERS can request a linesperson or umpire.

10 & Under Regulation - Junior Other Tournaments
All junior other sanctioned tournaments offer 10 & Under Orange Ball Division (orange ball, 60 foot court and 25 inch racquet) and 10 & Under Green Ball Division (green dot ball, 78 foot court and 27 inch racquet). Please register for the correct division based upon age, Challenger tournament credit / wins, etc. All tournament entries are verified by the section office. Excessive Overrule Guideline: The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, February 1, 2016 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
