Fall Junior Open --Tennisplex L6 (165pts)

The inaugural Fall Junior Open - TennisPlex tournament completed play today. All match results have been entered and posted. Thanks to all players (and parents) for their participation!

All Sunday match results are now posted. Monday "second match guarantee" (consolation) matches also have been posted.

All match results from Saturday matches are now posted. Additionally, pairings for the "second match guarantee" (consolation) matches are now available for review. Note: if you do not see your name listed in the consolation, either you informed the tournament desk you did not wish to play OR you were not eligible to participate since you played at least two main draw matches.

Numerous start times for Saturday matches (only) have been changed, as courts become available earlier due to withdrawals or format changes. Check the drawsheets to see if the changes impact you! We also will attempt to contact affected players by e-mail. In general terms, we can say that:
No changes have been made in the BG10 match schedules.
Co-Ed 8 match play beings at 9:00AM (no change), but may end earlier as matches are short and rest periods are minimal.
Numerous changes in the B12s and G12s Saturday match times have been made, which allow more orderly progression for both events.
B12 doubles match times have been adjusted slightly in view of the earlier singles match times.
G14 doubles match time has been moved one hour later, to 11:00AM; no changes have been made in the G14 singles schedule.

Full draws and schedules for all events are now posted and available for review. Players should report 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match time. We ask all players' cooperation in agreeing to start early when courts are available to do so. Please note that the tournament is offering a second match guarantee; only those consolation matches required to fulfill the second match guarantee will be played.

The Tournament Committee has determined the specific two-day block assigned to each event for this weekend's Fall Junior Open tournament, as follows:
Events Playing Saturday-Sunday: B12sd; G14sd; G12s; B10s; G10s; Co-Ed 8s
Events Playing Sunday-Monday: B18s; B16s; B14s; G16s

Registration is closed for this tournament and no late entries will be accepted. Players wishing to be listed on the Alternates List (to be contacted if a registered player withdraws) should send the player's name, USTA number, and desired event to the Tournament Director

Full draws and schedules will be posted here by Thursday evening. Note that tournament regulations allow scheduling of 3 main draw matches in a day and players should prepare for that likelihood.

Scoring format
10U: 6 game set , tie break to 7 at 5-5 (compass draw.)


12U - 18U: 2/3 sets and 10 point tie break in lieu of a 3rd set (1st match loser consolation with a 2 match guarantee.) Please let the director know if you do not intend on playing the consolation.
