Draw Format for 2016
The Singles Main Draw will begin Sunday July 17th and continue through Sunday July 24th (192 players in a 256 Draw). The Doubles Draw will begin Sunday July 17th (96 teams in a 96 team draw), and the Singles Feed-in Championships will begin Tuesday July 19th.

Alternate Information
Step 1: Check-In with Maggie Russell on Saturday, July 16 from 3:00-6:00p.m. Step 2: Pay your entry fee of $140.76 before you can be listed as an On-Site alternate. If you do not play doubles or make it to singles the entry fee will be returned to you. Step 3: Check your Standing around 10:00pm on Saturday, July 16. After all players have checked in, we order all the
On-Site Alternates according to their standings on the Girls’ 18 Clays National
Alternate List. We will post this list on the web site. Please check the
USTA website (Tournament ID #70001616) on Friday night to determine your
standing on the On-Site Alternate List. Step 4: Sign in at the tournament desk each morning. Must check in at 8:00am the first two days. All alternates must sign in on the alternate list on board on site. Step 5: Watch and Wait. If a player no-shows for a match or a player withdraws
before setting foot on the court for her first match, we then call the highest
ordered On-Site Alternate who has signed in on time to the Racquet Club
Tournament Desk, and that player will be placed in the draw.

Check-In Information
There will be one
Official check-in this year.
Check-in for the 192 qualified players will
be
Saturday, July 16 from 3-6 PM, followed by a mandatory players meeting from
6-7 PM.
You will receive your envelope of instructions
upon check-in. If you are unable to check in between these times, please
contact the Tournament Director by phone. Anyone not heard from by 6:00 PM on
day of check-in will be replaced in the draw by an Alternate.

Hotel Information
Doubletree and the Marriott are
the official hotels of the USTA Girls' 18 National Clay Court
Championships. Doubletree is 50 yards from The Racquet Club, has
dining facilities and airport transportation, and has given this tournament a
discounted rate of $119 per night for the girl participants. The Marriott
is located 3 miles from the Club. Rooms have
been blocked off for the tournament. Please
make your reservations prior to Thursday, June 30th (this is the deadline to hold ALL the rooms for the
tournament).

Player Housing Info.
Request for housing
must be made by calling the Tournament Office at 901-765-4458 no later than
Thursday, June 30. Cost for housing is $100.00. Please send a
separate check to the Tournament Site made payable to The Racquet Club of
Memphis. No housing in private homes will be provided for any
parent or coach. We will try to honor requests where contestants wish to
be housed together. If for any reason you have requested housing and your plans
change before the Tournament, you must contact the Tournament Office
immediately so that your housing family may be notified.

Mandatory Player Meeting
There will be a mandatory meeting
for all players at 6:00 p.m. Saturday July, 16 held
on Court 4 outdoors at The Racquet Club of Memphis. This meeting will only last
30 minutes to an hour. All important information regarding sites, practice
courts, first match times, transportation, club access, etc, will be discussed
at this meeting.The group photo for 2015 will also be taken at this time. Make
sure that you are at this mandatory meeting.There will be NO PRACTICE COURTS
open 6:00 - 7:00 pm on Saturday, July 16. All first match times will be
available at the player meeting. During your check-in, you will be able to
check your time and book your practice court for the next day.No player times
or practice courts for Sunday will be available until after the Mandatory
Player Meeting.

The Player and College Bio Books will be available in
color via digital format, and sold for $?35.
If you would like a hard copy, the fee is $45.00 for both. The deadline to submit form is Friday, JULY 8.

Player Transportation
Tournament transportation provided by Lexus. Transportation
from the airport is available upon request by calling the Tournament Office at
901-765-4414 at least TWO DAYS PRIOR to arrival. Transportation will also be
provided between sites for TOURNAMENT MATCHES ONLY. If you need transportation, you must check at The Tournament Desk
to let them know you need transportation. Otherwise, drivers will not
go to the sites. Most hotels will have a shuttle that can get you to and from
The Racquet Club should you need it.

Withdrawal Info.
IF
YOU ARE WITHDRAWING BEFORE THE DEADLINE (June 16th)
Go to the tournament's USTA TennisLink Home
Page - ID#700001616. Once on the G18 Clays page,
click on the "Register Now" text in red – which is what you had to do
when you registered for the event. When you arrive at the next page,
click on "WITHDRAW" on the left hand side of the screen. YOU
WILL NEED YOUR CONFIRMATION FROM YOUR ORIGINAL REGISTRATION TO WITHDRAW ONLINE.
Because your credit card has not been charged prior to the entry deadline, no
refund needs to be made. If you cannot locate your confirmation number, contact
linkteam@usta.com. IF
YOU ARE WITHDRAWING AFTER JUNE 16:
Immediately

tennis.office@racquetclubofmemphis.com. WE MUST HAVE A WRITTEN RECORD OF
THE WITHDRAWAL VIA EMAIL. Please make sure to email from the same email
account listed in your registration. If you withdraw by JUNE 26, you may be eligible for a full refund of $140.25 for entry fee. However, if a written statement
that the withdrawal is for injury, illness, or personal emergency is NOT
received by June 26, 2015, the player receives suspension points for
withdrawing without a legitimate reason. IF

Players are selected from a variety of National Lists and generally require Section endorsement.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 16, 2016 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
