PLAYERS PIZZA PARTY
Sunday players will be supplied with pizza for lunch. Keep in mind this is players only and will be supplied from 11:30am-3:00pm

Draws are posted. All matches will be played at Fremont Tennis Center. It is the players responsibility to check the draws and know their match time. Please check in 10 minutes before your match time.

DOUBLES ENTRY AND PARTNERS
Singles Selections will be done by USTA NorCal by Friday July 17th. Doubles pairing will be done Monday July 20th,. If you don't have a partner and would like to play you must email tennis@fremont.gov by 12pm Monday July 20th. If two players would like to be partner together, BOTH players must comfirm by emailing tennis@fremont.gov before 12pm Monday July 20th. WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY DOUBLES PARTNER REQUESTS WITHOUT PERMISSION/CONFIRMATION FROM BOTH PLAYERS.

USTA NORCAL TOURNAMENT RULES
iv. Championship Age Up Tournaments. Except in the 12 Divisions, Championship "Age Up" Tournaments select players from the Combined Sectional Final Ranking Lists of both the age division of the event, and the next-younger age division.
a. Sanction Period. Championship Age Division Tournaments shall have a 4 or 5 day sanction period.
b. Draw Size and Format.
(1) SinglesThe singles draw size shall be limited to 48 total players. A Feed-In Championship that feeds players in through the Round of 16, with a playoff for 3rd and 4th place, and a playoff for 5th, 6th and 8th place shall be played.
(2) Doubles.
The doubles draw size shall be limited to 24 teams. A single elimination draw shall be played with a playoff for 3rd and 4th place.
c. Selection Process.
(1) Singles. Championship Age Division Tournaments shall select players as follows:
• Up to 18 players from the top 30 of the Combined Sectional Final Ranking List of the next-younger division.
• Remaining players selected using the most recently published Combined Sectional Final Ranking List of the division, except that a Late Entry may not be accepted into the draw if it invalidates the seeding,
• All players not selected shall be placed on an Alternate List that is ordered using most recently published Combined Sectional Final Ranking List of the division. The Alternate Lists shall be used to replace withdrawing players, except that a Late Entry may not be accepted into the draw if it invalidates the seeding.
(2) Doubles. Teams shall be selected as set forth in Rule 14. All teams not selected shall be placed on Alternate Lists that are ordered using the same method of selecting teams into the tournament described Rule 14. The Alternate Lists shall be used to replace withdrawing teams, except that a Late Entry may not be accepted into the draw if it invalidates the seeding. d. Concurrent Event Selection Order. Concurrent Championship Age Up and Sectional Open Jamboree Tournaments are held and concurrent entry is permitted (see Rule 6.B.ii.). Selection shall first be done by USTA NorCal staff for the Championship Age Up Tournament. A player entered in both tournaments that is not accepted into the Championship Age Up Tournament shall be eligible for selection into the Sectional Open Jamboree. A player may be an alternate for both tournaments; however once a player accepts a position in a draw of one tournament that player may not subsequently withdraw from that tournament to play in the other. Doing so shall be considered a violation of the Concurrent Tournament Rule. e. Player Selection Publication Requirement. Unless delayed due to the availability of USTA NorCal staff to make singles selections, the singles selection lists shall be published no later than the Friday following the Monday entry deadline. In the event of a delay, the publication date shall be published to the tournament website.
f. Doubles Partner Notification Deadline; Paring of Players Without Partners. No later than the end of the day on Monday prior to the Saturday start date of the tournament, any doubles players that have not previously entered as a team shall advise the Tournament Committee of the partnership.
A Tournament Committee may elect to randomly pair any player entered in doubles without a partner after the Monday deadline provided a statement that this will take place is published on the tournament website by the time entries open. If random parings will take place, players entered in doubles without a partner that do not desire to play doubles must notify the Tournament Committee of their desire to withdraw from doubles (without penalty) by the Monday deadline.
If random pairings are made, players in the singles draw shall be paired with other players in the singles draw first. g. Entry Fee. (1) 4-Day Tournaments. The entry fee for a 4-day Championship Age Up Tournament shall be a base fee of $55 per player.

Main Draw Singles including 3rd place play off - best of three tie break sets. Consolation Singles including playoff matches for 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th place - best of 3 sets with 10 point tie breaker in lieu of 3rd set Doubles - eight game pro set

necessarily to the Fremont Tennis Center.
[3] Some matches will be played under lights.
[4] Additional sites will be used. Players are responsible for
transportation between sites
[5] On tournament days, withdrawals must be made by phone and
email. If we cannot contact your opponent in time, late withdrawals
may still be recorded as a default.
[6] The tournament will NOT give authorization for concurrent
tournament registrations. We will enforce concurrent tournament
registration rules.

Warm up courts will be available before the first match start time. There will be no warm up courts at Fremont Tennis Center once the tournament has begun.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 13, 2015 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
