IMPORTANT NOTE - This tournament is open to any female player 14 years and older (must turn 14 by February 2, 2015).
The WILD CARD CHALLENGE is an unsanctioned tournament, with players competing for wild cards into the 2014 $100,000 Dow Corning Tennis Classic, A USTA Pro Circuit Event to be held at the Midland Community Tennis Center, Midland, Michigan, February 1-8, 2015.
The singles winner of the Wild Card Challenge will receive wild cards into the Singles Main Draw of the Dow Corning Tennis Classic. The singles finalist will receive a wild card entry into the Singles Qualifier Draw of the Dow Corning Tennis Classic.
The winners of the Wild Card Challenge doubles will receive a wild card into the Doubles Main Draw of the Dow Corning Tennis Classic.
All wild card recipients will need to secure an IPIN# to participate in the Dow Corning Tennis Classic (Qualifier or Main Draw), and will need to sign in early for the tournament. Players will be given an early sign in date when they receive the wild card.
Singles draw size will be 48 players. Scoring format will be two out of three sets with a Set Tiebreak at 6 games all in any set.
Doubles draw size will be 32 teams. Scoring format will be an 8 game pro set with a Set Tiebreak at 8 games all through the semi-finals. Scoring format for the final match will be two out of three sets with a Set Tiebreak at 6 games all in any set.
Seeding will be determined using the USTA top 500 list.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to USTA Members, USTA Members who have an expired membership and Non-USTA Members. Entries must be submitted by Friday, January 2, 2015 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time.
