Please help to keep the tournament sites clean by picking up your trash on the grounds and courts. THANK YOU!

SINGLES
All singles matches will be the best 2 out of 3 sets, with a 7-Point Tiebreak at 6 games all. Please remember that the singles draws of the USTA Intermountain Labor Day Masters Tournament will only run for four days. Singles will be a 64 draw, with a full feed-in consolation. There will be a playoff for 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th, as well as Consolation Winner and Finalist, but not for 7th & 8th Place.
|
DOUBLES
Doubles matches will be 8 game Pro-Sets until the Finals. Finals will be the best 2 out of 3 sets with a 7-Point Tiebreak at 6 games all. Doubles will be Single Elimination. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PLAY BOTH SINGLES AND DOUBLES. HOWEVER IF YOU WANT TO PLAY DOUBLES YOU MUST SIGN UP ONLINE WITH YOUR PARTNER, OR CONTACT ME WITH YOUR PARTNERS NAME NO LATER THAN MONDAY, AUGUST 24TH AT NOON, OR EMAIL ME AT rwise@utahtennis.com AND LET ME KNOW THAT YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO HELP YOU FIND A PARTNER NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19TH AT 4:00 PM. DOUBLES DRAWS WILL BE POSTED ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST. PLAYERS - PLEASE CHECK THE COMPETITOR'S LIST AND VERIFY THAT YOU ARE PAIRED WITH THE CORRECT DOUBLES PARTNER. Your partner MUST be in the same age group as you. For example, if you are playing in the Boy's 14's Singles Division, your partner cannot be playing in the Boy's 16 Singles Division. Unfortunately those types of requests cannot be accommodated due to the potential scheduling and match location conflicts. The doubles event is very important especially for those players who are interested in playing college tennis.
|
TOURNAMENT ACCETANCE
If any one division has more than 64 players applying, acceptance will be based on the most recent ITA Standings List for that particular division draw. The top 64 players - APPLYING - ONLINE - ON TIME - will be accepted. Players registering online and receiving a confirmation number are NOT guaranteed acceptance - this is only confirmation that registration was performed correctly.
|
LATE REGISTRATION
A $15 late fee will be charged any player who registers for the USTA Intermountain Level 4 Labor Day Masters Tournament after the August 4th online registration deadline. In addition, a late registration will only be accepted into the main draw if there are less than 64 players in that division. For divisions with more than 64 players, late registrants will be placed at the bottom of the alternate list for that division.
|
AVOIDANCE REQUESTS
Due to the size of this event, the number of people coming from out of state, and the short format, avoidance's are not available.
|
CONFIRMATION OF MATCH TIMES
Players, please remember that as per Friend At Court, the players are solely responsible for learning the time and place of their matches. Tournament desk personnel will give out match times to players, but "The players should not rely on being told the time of their matches and should check the draw." The exception to this rule would be if we reschedule a match because a previous match ran long, or a flood washed out the road. In those type of instances the Site Director will let the players know the new time that the match will be played. In all circumstances, you should always confirm your match times against the draw.

AS SHOWN IN FRIEND AT COURT - Number of seeds. The number of players seeded shall equal a power of two (for example: 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32).
