USTA Florida Level 3 "Bobby Curtis" Junior State Doubles Championships BG 18 & 16

Events - Alternates by Event

On Monday from 7-830 am we will have practice courts at sanlando first come first serve basis from 830-10 we will have two courts that players can share 4 per court if it is full .

- Same Gender Doubles is full 2 out of 3 sets starting at 0-0 with no add scoring (receiving team chooses who receives the deciding point) and with a match tie break in lieu of a 3rd set. Same gender doubles will have a round of 16 FIC where the quarterfinals losers feed into a separate bracket.
- Mixed Doubles is full 2 out of 3 sets starting at 0-0 with no add scoring (Gender serves to Gender) and with a match tie break in lieu of a 3rd set. Mixed doubles will be single elimination.
If you entered both regular doubles and mixed please be prepared to play a lot of tennis 2 . This tournament does end Monday if you keep winning in main draw or back draw s please be prepared to play Monday if you keep winning .

On Saturday and Sunday practice courts are only available at Sanlando from 7-8 am on first come first serve basis after that there will be no practice courts at Sanlando Park . Sylvan Lake Park , 845 Lake Markham road, Sanford Florida 32771 ( 15-20 minutes away ) 407 665-2180 has a few hard courts if you need to practice after 8 am . You must call to see if available and reserve there is a fee of 4 dollars an hour per court..

Friday Sept 19:
Early check in 4-7 pm ( this is not mandatory you can still check in before your match Saturday if necessary) .
Player Social: 6-8 pm: Doubles mixer and round robin mixer and pizza party .

Players may only enter mixed doubles in the same division they are playing regular doubles . For example If you are playing Boys or Girls 18s regular doubles you can not enter 16s mixed and vice versa . Mixed doubles results do not count for ranking points .

Players and their parents are required to be permanent residents of Florida in order to be eligible for this level tournament. Paperwork (as per the link) proving the parents and player are permanent residents must be RECEIVED in the USTA Florida office and APPROVED three weeks from the start date of the Level 3, 4, or 5 tournament, Players wishing to check their approval can check the Tentative Ranking list published approximately 16 days before the start of the tournament. more info

Each doubles team must have both players register online individually with their partner . If you registered and don't see your partner registered with you , remind them that both of you need to register online .
