NorCal 14s Junior Sectional Championships @ Fremont Tennis Center

Thank you for registering for the 14's sectionals at Fremont Tennis Center. This will run over 5 days, June 6th,7th,13th,14th & 15th. All matches will be played at Fremont Tennis Center and the tournament desk will be located on the grassy area towards the back of the facility.
Expectations for players - we believe players at this level should own their tennis therefore be 100% responsible checking in on time, reporting scores and being respectful towards tournament staff, officials, opponents and the sport.
Expectations for parents - parents shall allow the tournament staff, officials and players to do their part to ensure smooth running of the tournament. They shall enjoy the matches, encourage all players and soak up the fantastic NorCal sunshine.

Selections will be done by USTA NorCal by May 29th. Doubles pairing will be done Monday June 1st, all partner requests must be made by 12pm. If you wish to play doubles and do not have a partner please send request to be partnered to npugh@fremont.gov. We will not accept requests for a specific partner unless you can show you have permission from the partner confirming his/her commitment to play.

Singles Qualifying Draw and Match Format Information:
The singles qualifying draw is limited to 32 players. The 32-player draw shall play two rounds to qualify 8 players for the main draw. The first round losers in the Singles Qualifier shall play one additional consolation match. All main draw qualifier matches will be the best of 3 Tiebreak sets; all consolation matches will be the best of 3 Tiebreak sets with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak played in lieu of the 3rd set. Players that do not qualify for the main draw are eligible to play doubles. Doubles will be an 8 game pro set.

Singles Draw and Match Format Information:
The singles draw size is limited to 64 players. A Feed-In Championship whereby players are fed into the consolation through the Round of 16 will be played. The losing quarterfinalists will play off for 5th and 6th place and a playoff for 3rd and 4th place will also be held. All main draw matches and the 3rd/4th playoff will be the best of 3 Tiebreak sets; all consolation matches (including the quarterfinal playoff matches) will be the best of 3 Tiebreak sets with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak played in lieu of the 3rd set.

The draws and schedule is posted. All matches will be played at Fremont Tennis Center, 1110 Stevenson Blvd., Fremont. It is players responsibility to know the match times. Any changes in the draw & scheduling will be communicated through the tournament homepage, emails or phone. Match times for the second weekend (6/13 & 14) are tentative and will be confirmed June 10th. Any question regarding draws and scheduling can be directed to Tournament Director and Referee on the email addresses on the homepage.

As of Tuesday June 9th, draws are updated and current with the June 13th and 14th match times. It is the players responsibility to know their match times.

Warm up courts will be available before the first match start time. There will be no warm up courts at Fremont Tennis Center once the tournament has begun.
