Players entering this tournament must have residency paper work in the USTA Florida Section office before the deadline of the tournament.
The Junior Competitive Tennis Council has mandated a strict enforcement of the Florida Residency Requirement for USTA Florida Level 3, 4, & 5 tournaments, endorsement to USTA National events, and Intersectional and Zonal teams. For all these events, USTA Florida follows the USTA eligibility rule for USTA National tournaments as well as the USTA Florida Residency Rule.

Junior Grant Money for Semifinalist!
The USTA Florida Junior Competitive Committee is designating
$350.00 for each player that reaches and competes in the semifinals singles
competition of the “USTA Florida Level 3 Bobby Curtis Junior State
Championships.” It is the Committee’s goal to provide a grant to these specific
players to assist the players with an opportunity to compete in other elite
events/team events during the year 2015, who may not otherwise have an
opportunity to participate. The
semifinalists would be boys and girls in the 12’s, 14’s, 16’s and 18’s age
divisions. The players shall use the grant money towards either a National
level 1 or 2 or Zonal competition. It
shall be applied to Hotel and/or travel cost, and/ or tournament entry
fees. The players shall submit the
receipt(s) to the USTA Florida Office/ Daytona in order for the receipts to be
placed in line for reimbursement. The period for reimbursement will expire as
of December 31, 2015 and any receipt submission after that date will not be accepted
for reimbursement.

Players finishing #1 or #2 in the main draw 12s, 14s, and 16s of a 3, 4, or 5 will be eligible for an automatic entry into the next scheduled Level 3, 4, or 5 in the next higher age division. The automatic entry must be in the month directly following the tournament where the player reached the finals. If a player reaches the final in February, the automatic entry can ONLY be in March. For example; Player finishes #2 in the February L5 14S, They would be eligible for automatic entry into the March 16s Level 4. The player must enter through Tennis Link and be registered before the deadline to be eligible. Player is also responsible for informing the tournament director of their intent. For a player to be Endorsed by USTA Florida for the USTA National Clay Championships – July 12 - 18, 2015 and the USTA National Hard Courts - August 2 - 9, 2015; players need to play and complete one of the following; April 2015 L5, or May 2015 L4, or June 2015 L3. Default, withdrawal, walkover, injury, and other definitions listed in the Friend at Court do not satisfy USTA Florida’s rules for finishing a tournament. Doubles will not count for Endorsement.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, May 24, 2015 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
