Hotels
We have deals with several hotels in the area for this tournament. At the Century House (a Clarion hotel), a longtime tournament partner, we have a special rate for the tournament of $89/night for a double and $99/night for a king. Amenities include a full buffet breakfast, high speed internet, and a 24-hour exercise room. To book a room, please call them at (518) 785-0931 and tell them you're with the USTA tournament. The Century House is located a quarter of a mile up the road from the club, on New Loudon Rd. (a.k.a. Route 9...you'll see a sign for the Clarion too).

Practice Courts
Practice Court availability will be limited to half an hour per player on Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26. You may not book a court for the qualifiers until the draws are posted online on Saturday the 11th, a week before the tournament begins. You may not book a court for the main draw until Monday, October 20. Due to the demand for court time, we can not make any exceptions. At those times, courts can be reserved on a first come, first served basis. The cost will be $25 for half an hour. If you would like a hitting pro, please book the court first and email Andy to give him notice and he will find a pro for you. The cost for a court with a hitting pro is $35/half hour. Please be aware that we have a 24-hour cancellation policy for all our practice courts.

Driving Directions
From the New York State Thruway: Take exit 24. Follow the signs for Albany Airport (Route 87 north). Take Rt 87 to exit 7. Bear right on the ramp. Stay in the right lane until you reach a traffic light (Route 9). Take a right at the light onto Rt. 9 north. Tri-City Fitness is on the left just past the first traffic light, directly behind the Acura dealership.

Code Of Conduct: By registering for this tournament you agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations set forth in the USTA Friend at Court, the USTA Standards of Conduct, as well as the USTA Eastern Section's Rules & Regulations. The rules apply to parents & spectators as well; the player is responsible for their entourage. Poor behavior by the spectators may result in point penalties for the players. Poor personal behavior, bad sportsmanship or any acts detrimental to the game could prevent section endorsement. Concurrent Tournaments are not allowed! Be very careful when registering! No player may register for more than one Eastern sanctioned tennis tournament where the scheduled dates overlap unless the officially announced tournament starting dates are at least three days apart. Some very limited exceptions apply Please see our website for details.

+L1 Eastern Grand Prix Eastern's Grand Prix series events are Open Qualifier events; with 32 player Main Draw and FIC Consolation. Matches will be two out of three full sets, except in the 12U age division, qualifying, and consolation rounds in which a 10-Point Match Tiebreak will be played in lieu of a third set. There is an additional $40 registration fee for players accepted directly into the Main Draw, and players reaching the MD through Qualifying.

Registration and Withdrawals Withdrawals can be done online before registration closes. Select "Withdraw" under the blue Edit Registration Menu on the lower left of this tournament homepage. Refunds will not be given after the close of registration.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, October 6, 2014 1:00:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
