The Eve Zimmerman USTA National Tournament at Stanford University is excited to announce that this year’s B&G 14’s winners will receive a main draw wildcard into the 2015 Claremont ITF tournament, this March, at Claremont College in Southern California. In addition to the wildcard the winners will also receive a $1,500 pre-paid hospitality/travel stipend to help defer tournament expenses.

Players will be accepted into the tournament, September 12-14, based on their USTA National ranking. The ranking list published August 20, 2014 will be used. Note: August 20, is the ranking list date mandated by the USTA. August 20 corrects the date of August 13 which has been distributed but was in error. Draws are limited to 16. The draws will be filled with the top 12, “ITF age eligible” entrants, and four wildcards.

Information regarding the ITF age eligibility that was contained in a recent letter mailed to players ranked in the top 75 in the B&G 12s and 14's is incorrect. Please disregard that information. The information provided below under Age Eligibility be is correct and should be followed.

The Eve Zimmerman USTA National Tournament at Stanford University has taken the place of the Nike Junior Tour USA National Masters, which for the last three years was held on clay at the Evert Academy in Boca Raton, Florida, during the same date block. All players accepted into the event will receive a hospitality stipend in the amount of $680 to help with hotel, meals or travel expenses. Players will receive a pre-paid credit card for this amount when they check in at the tournament registration on Thursday, September 11th. The official tournament hotel is the Stanford Park Hotel (see link on the tournament home page).

The Stanford Park Hotel is the official hotel for the USTA National Tournament at Stanford University. The hotel is located minutes away for Taube Family Tennis Center. Individuals may call the Reservations Department directly to book their reservations. Please refer to the USTA National Tennis Tournament group for the tournament special rates. Request for wildcards should be submitted to Phil Cello, Tournament Director at cellotennis@comcast.net, and will be determined by the Tournament Committee.

Compass draw. All players will play four matches.

This tournament is categorized as a USTA International event and will use the ITF (International Tennis Federation) age eligibility cutoff date of December 31st. Example: If you are currently 12, but will turn 13 on or before December 31, 2014, you WOULD NOT BE ELIGIBLE to compete in the 12's and would need to enter into the 14’s. Example: If you are currently 14 and will turn 15 on or before December 31, 2014 you WOULD NOT BE ELIGIBLE to compete in the 14's.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
