IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT ENTRY INFORMATION
1) Players can enter only one of the three tournaments -- either the
Open, the Challenger, or the Green Ball -- not any combination. 2)
Players entering Singles and Doubles in the Challenger Tournament must
be in the same age group -- for example, a player can enter 12 Singles
and 12 Doubles, but not 12 Singles and 14 Doubles. 3) Tournament
reserves the right to limit draws to 16 singles players and 8 doubles
teams if we receive more entries that we can accommodate.

TOURNAMENTFORMATS
OPEN Singles --------------- 2 sets with a match tiebreak.
CHALLENGER Singles --- 8 game proset.
CHALLENGER Doubles -- 8 game proset.
GREEN BALL Singles ----- One Set, Regular scoring.
GREEN BALL Doubles ---- One 10-point-match tiebreak.
All Green Ball entrants will be entered in both Singles and Doubles.

TOURNAMENT DESK CHECK IN
Please check in at the tournament desk at least
15 minutes prior to your scheduled match time. If you are late, regardless if a
court is available, you will be penalized one game for each 5 minuets you are
late up to 3 games or fifteen minuets, after which you will be defaulted.
Exceptions are at the discretion of the referee and/or tournament director.

COURT-SIDESEATING
We suggest that you bring a portable chair/s as
there is no permanent seating around the outside perimeter of the courts.

The closest public courts that may
be available for practice are:
Rodriguez High School (6 courts) 5000 Red Top Road, 3.89 miles
Allen Witt Park (8 courts) 1741 West Texas Street, 5.15 miles
Note: Allen Witt Park may be used as an alternate site
and will have limited availability for practice. Armijo High School, 824 Washington St,
Fairfield, CA 94533, is also available for practice.

The Solano Open and Challenger tournaments are run at the Solano
Community College, 4000 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield, CA 94534.
The tournament proceeds go to the Solano Tennis and Education
Foundation (STEF). STEF's current initiatives are the establishment
of a free after school tennis development and educational mentoring
program at Solano CC for Solano County juniors and the formation
and funding of a men's and women's tennis team at Solano CC.
Donations to STEF can be made through the Solano Educational
Foundation by contacting Curt Johnston ED, 707-864-7141.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Saturday, February 15, 2014 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
