DOUBLES ENTRY DEADLINE
All players who either registered with a partner or requested a partnership by email should now be shown as a doubles team on the Player's List. Please check to make sure you are properly listed with your partner. If there is an error, please notify the Tournament Committee by sending an email to the address above no later than 6:00 am on Monday, June 2.
Players Still Looking for Partners: You will have until 6:00 am on Monday, June 2 to notify the Tournament Committee of your partnership. To request a partnership, send an email to the address listed above with you full name and your partner's full name.

WHAT’S NEW FOR JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS IN 2014
USTA Northern California recently announced some
significant changes and enhancements to the section's Junior Tournament
structure that will take effect on January 1, 2014.
USTA National, in an effort to improve the national
junior tournament experience for thousands of young players throughout the
country, has also made numerous changes to the National Junior Competition
Structure that will take effect on January 1, 2014.

DRAWS AND MATCH FORMAT
SINGLES QUALIFIER AND SINGLES MAIN DRAW: 64 singles players compete in the main draw. 32 players compete in a qualifying draw - 2 rounds are played to qualify 8 players. The total draws size is 88 players.
DOUBLES DRAW SIZE: 48 doubles teams - all singles qualifier players eligible to play doubles, regardless of whether they qualify for the main draw singles (that is why the doubles draws size is 48)
SINGLES DRAW FORMAT: FIC through the round of 16 with playoff for 3rd and 4th place and playoff for 5th, 6th and 8th place
DOUBLES DRAW FORMAT: Single elimination playoff for 3rd and 4 th place
MATCH FORMATS: Main draw singles matches and singles playoff matches (3rd/4th and QF draw) - best of 3 sets. Qualifier and FIC singles matches plus all doubles matches best of 3 sets with 10 point tie break in lieu of third set

PRACTICE COURTS
Practice courts will be available at Arden Hills before the first round of matches on each day of the tournament. Additional practice courts will be at Rio Americano High School and Ashton Park both about 3 min from Arden Hills.

SNACKS
Fruit and muffins will be provided for players.
|
ADDITIONAL SITES
We will try to schedule all matches at ARDEN HILLS RESORT CLUB AND SPA however an additional site might be needed on the busiest day of the tournament. Some of the matches might be moved to Rollingwood Racquet Cub. Please check the match schedule carefully for the location of your match.

TROPHIES AND/OR MEDALS
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th place finishers and consolation winners

TOURNAMENT CONTACT

PARKING
Parking is available at the site but there might be some restrictions due to other events taking place on the tournament dates. Resort staff will assist you.

RESTAURANTS
Arden Hills has an restaurant and snack bar where the food can be purchased. There are several restaurant options near Arden Hills.
|
HOTEL
Larkspur Landing in Sacramento will be the official tournament hotel. When making room reservations refer to Arden Hills tennis tournament for special rates.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, May 26, 2014 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
