GEORGIA LEVEL 5 ONE-DAY SATELLITE TOURNAMENT Boys & Girls
10s - All matches are the best of 2 no-ad short sets (4 games),
with a "sudden death" played at 3-games all: the next game wins the
set (it is not necessary to play a set tiebreak nor to win by 2
games). If the players/teams split sets, the final set is a 7-point
tiebreak: the first player/team to 7 points wins (it is not
necessary to win by 2 points). Adult monitoring and play
supervision (correcting line calls and scoring mistakes) is
permitted, but no coaching is allowed.
Boys & Girls 12s-14 - All matches are the best of 2 no-ad short
sets (4 games), with a set tiebreak (first to 7 points by 2) played
if the set score is tied at 3-games all. Should the players/teams
split sets, the final set is a match tiebreak (first to 10 pts by
2).
). Rest Periods and Coaching (all ages): Normal 2 minutes rest
periods are allowed between all sets, including the third set
tie-break. Coaching is NOT allowed during any of these rest
periods.
10 and Under matches will be played on a 60' court using orange
balls. This tournament will be for BG10, 12, and 14. SATELLITE -
Open to all players regardless of ranking. In case of rain, refunds
will be made only to those events not started. Tee Shirts will be
awarded to all participants and trophies to winners. The tournament
official will be Charlie McCoy Players can enter one age division
only but there may be more than one division per age group. BG 10 $
under will be played from 9AM to Noon. BG 12 & under will be
played from Noon to 3PM BG 14 & under will be played from 3PM
to 6PM.
NO REFUNDS will be made after the first match has been
played.

LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 1-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries.
