Draw Sizes and Playing Surface
This tournament is intended to be played primarily indoors. Draw sizes may be limited and some matches may be scheduled on our outdoor courts if number of entrants in each draw or number of entrants overall requires it. Players are permitted to play both singles and doubles but cannot play in multiple singles divisions or multiple doubles divisions. Doubles will likely be limited to a draw of 8 teams per division.

Intended Schedule of Play
Matches will start as early as 6PM on Friday and Noon on Saturday and Sunday, scheduled start times for similar events in the past have been as late as 10:30 PM when total number of players for the event exceeds 120. Again, some matches may play outdoors and/or late into the evening depending on draw sizes. All players are required to check-in 15 minutes before match time, and we recommend you check in earlier. Any player called and not present 15 minutes after match time will be defaulted.

Player Gifts
All players will receive a player gift with entry, water and Gatorade will also be provided throughout the weekend. Winners and runners up of events will receive awards.

Tournament Format
Matches will play as best 2 out of 3 sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a third set.

Parking
Parking is available on-site in our parking garage for a $15 flat fee or a discounted rate of $4 per hour, whichever is less. Street parking bordering the club is also available.

Practice Courts
Practice courts may be available on our outdoor rooftop courts. These courts will be on a first come, first serve basis with no charge.

All NTRP Players Must Have an NTRP Rating
All players participating in a USTA NorCal sanctioned NTRP tournament must have an NTRP rating. If you do not have an NTRP rating, please click "more info" to obtain a self-rating.

Concurrent Tournament Rule
A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation, concurs in writing, and each agrees to accommodate the player’s schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with overlapping dates without permission. If a player violates this concurrent tournament rule ranking points earned in any concurrent tournament played will not count toward ranking or the Grand Prix Points Race and the concurrent tournaments will not count toward the minimum tournament requirement to qualify for Grand Prix.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, March 9, 2014 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
