Thanks for a great weekend of tennis!!
We have a very full weekend coming up. 92 matches go out on
Saturday and 75 on Sunday. Singles is the priority to get in, so
that is why doubles is at the tail end. I'm sorry that it worked
out that way, I know it's not the most convenient ordering.
It is very important that everyone show up early to check in so we
stay on schedule. Please be minimum 15 minutes early to check in
and stay around the desk. Use the restroom in advance of check in
time.
Some notes: Challenger matches will be 8 game pro -sets
Open matches are best of three matches with a 3rd set match tie
break.
Food will be available inside the spa cafe or across the street ant
The Grill restaurant located at the hotel. Towels from inside the
spa are only for hotel guests. Please be respectful of the spa
environment.
We can not take anymore late entrants. We have a very full
draw.
Players will check in on the spa side tennis courts, which are
across the street from the large mansion. 1605 Atlas Peak
Road.
Players will receive a tournament gift and complimentary PBI
magazine for entering. The hotel has a spa cafe and casual
restaurant. There are also many other great places to eat within a
few miles of the resort.
Players should know that we do not provide practice courts for the
tournament as the tournament has a nice size draw and in order to
accommodate everyone, we must utilize all ten courts.
Warm up courts will be available to player's before the first
matches of the day. Players should be aware that guests of the
hotel and club members have priority on the courts in terms of
reserving them before the tournament starts, and some of them may
be in the tournament. Napa Valley Community College is about 5
miles away and has courts.
We will be using WIlson US Open Extra Duty Balls.
Once draws have been posted, the tournament will not be refunding
entries.
