USTA National Men's 40, 55 & 60 Grass Court Championships

This match will be played Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 4pm.

Men's 55 will run Monday, Sept. 15 - Saturday, Sept. 20
Men's 60 will run Thursday, Sept. 18 - Tuesday, Sept. 23
Men's 40 will run Monday, Sept. 22 - Sunday, Sept. 28

The West Side Tennis Club has an all white dress code. This includes hats, shoes and warm-ups. Collared shirts are not required.

Players are invited to park in the lot next to the Stadium on 69th Avenue. Please be sure NOT to park on the private streets surrounding the Club. Cars parked on the private streets will be booted. PLEASE READ THE SIGNS CAREFULLY!!

The Stadium parking lot will be closed from Thursday, Sept. 18 through Tuesday, Sept. 23. Limited space is available in the front parking lot.

Parking is also available in the garage on Austin St. 2 blocks from the club.

All match times are subject to bad weather. Please check the internet or call the Pro Shop to confirm match times if you have questions. The number is 718-268-2300 x 127.

Practice courts are available free of charge starting Saturday, Sept. 13 at noon. Please call the Pro Shop to book courts at 718-268-2300 x127. Practice courts may be booked 24 hours in advance.

On-site tournament registration will be open:
Sunday & Monday, Sept. 14 & 15 for the 55s from 11am - 4pm in the Rose Garden Tent
Wednesday & Thursday, Sept. 17 & 18 for the 60s from 11am - 4pm in the Rose Garden Tent
Monday & Tuesday, Sept. 22 & 23 for the 40s from 11am - 4pm in the Rose Garden Tent

Voluntary Sign-Up Consolations will be offered for first round losers for all events. Consolation matches will be on clay.
Consolations for the 55s will start on Wednesday, Sept. 17
Consolations for the 60s will start on Monday, Sept. 22
Consolations for the 40s will start on Wednesday, Sept. 24

Please be sure to report to the Tournament Desk after your first round match, win or lose, so you can let us know one way or the other about playing the consolations.

Lunch will be available at the club Wednesdays through Sundays 12-3pm. The bar will open daily at 3pm. Food is available in Forest Hills at a variety of restaurants within walking distance of the club. PLEASE DO NOT BRING FOOD IN THE CLUB WHILE THE CLUB RESTAURANT IS OPEN.

The club will host Happy Hours for tournament players and their guests on Monday, Sept. 15 at 4-6pm, Thursday, Sept. 18 at 4-6pm and Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 4-6pm. Free beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks!!! Be sure to get your drink tickets at the Tournament Desk on the day of the Happy Hour.

Please be aware that GRASS COURT SHOES ARE NOT PERMITTED. This includes the Adidas Feather and any shoe with nubs or protrusions on the sole. Thank you for observing this club rule which protects the courts from excess wear and tear and thank you for your understanding.
