We would like to recognize Lindsey Evans for her composure and doing it the right way! By setting an example for everyone on how to congratulate your opponent on their win and wish them “Good Luck” in the tournament. This character demonstrates the true spirit of competition.

Please, remember that after first round matches - posted times are guidelines and subject to change based on tournament demands. It's your responsibility to check with tournament desk after each match and/or before leaving site to inquire when your next scheduled match is. We will not give match times over the phone.

ALL DOUBLES MATCHES WILL BE STARTING AT 8:30 AM.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to match time. AT 8:15am Head Referee will be speaking to each of you before we put you on court. We will also like to take a group picture.

Thank You for signing up for the Girls 16s National Selections here at Woodlake. We are very excited to have you at our club and we know that this will be a great event!
Just a few things to note:
· Next week we will send out a package with further information to help make your tournament an enjoyable one.
· We have blocked out 32 rooms at the Sleep Inn and Suite for the tournament at a rate of $95.00/night (Friday, May 23 – May 26). It will also include a breakfast. Hotel link-http://www.sleepinn.com/hotel-midlothian-virginia-VA592 If you do come in on Thursday just let them know and they will extend the rate per Devin.
· There will be a Registration/Check-in Friday night, May 23 from 6 -7pm. Starting at 6pm Players and their guests are invited to participate in our Friday Night Cheers at the Club. Each player will be provided with a complimentary ticket for dinner and we will have tickets for guest to purchase at the registration desk. More details will be in package. If you are unable to make the registration period please let us know in advance. We ask that you arrive at a minimum of 30 minutes before your first match if you are unable to register by 7pm on Friday.
· MANDATORY! MANDATORY! MANDATORY! All players are required to submit a signed USTA & Medical Release Form before competing in the tournament. Players are encouraged to take care of this administrative task as soon as possible by downloading, completing and returning this form to tennis@woodlakeonline.com via email. To download the form please click on the word form. IMPORTANT: Your Medical Release form must be on file with us by Thursday, May 22 at 9pm. Please take care of this as quickly as possible.
· If anyone needs to hit with one of our Pro’s on Friday please let us know ahead of time and we will schedule a time and give you a rate based on court time requested.
· We will have a few courts set aside for practice for you on Friday. First come basis.
· We will also extend pool privilege to you while you are in the tournament – so bring your suits!
As for the doubles – Sign-ups will be open till Wednesday, May 23 at 9pm. NO PARTNER DESIGNATIONS OR SWITCHING WILL BE DONE AFTER THE DEADLINE. For those of you who have mutually agreed to play doubles together, please let the Tournament director know via email at tennis@woodlakeonline.com Both players will need to send an email stating they are playing with each other please include USTA # before we OFFICIALLY put a team together. This will avoid any misunderstandings. If you would like to play doubles but do not have a partner, please contact us via email and you will be added to the doubles list. It is not the responsibility of the Tournament Committee to match a player with a partner, but we will do our best to help pair as many players as possible. Failure to send the email will result in the player(s) not being registered into the tournament for doubles.

If we have to go indoors due to weather there will be a small fee charged for court time.
