USTA PLAYER PROMISE
The USTA is reintroducing the “Junior Player Promise” at this National Championship event.
“I recognize that tennis is a sport that places the
responsibility for fair play on me. I promise to abide by the rules of the
game, which require me to give the benefit of the doubt to my opponent.
At all times I shall strive to compete with the true spirit of
sportsmanship, recognizing that my behavior on the court is a direct reflection
of my character. Whether this match ends with my victory or defeat, I
promise to conduct myself in a way that honors my opponents, my team, those who
support me, and the game of tennis.”
Once your singles matches are complete, please take a minute to
complete the questionnaire on how well you see this Player Promise exhibited
during the tournament. More details will be available at the tournament
site director's desk.

IMPORTANT: DOUBLE-CHECK IF YOU ARE IN MAIN DRAW, QUALIFYING OR ALTERNATE FOR QUALIFYING
VERY IMPORTANT...In order to know if you are in the Main Draw or Qualifying Draws, click on the COMPETITORS tab, and in the dropdown, see if you are in the Main Draw or Qualifying event...If you are not listed, click on the above 'Alternate Order for Qualifying Event'... If you are not listed on any of the above lists, view the National Standings List as you most likely do not qualify for the event due to a sectional issue (call your section).
For additional information, click on the SELECTION PROCESS tab, click the division you registered for, click #18 (National Standings List (NSL)) and view the color bubble next to your name. A Bright Green bubble indicates you are in Main Draw. A Dark Blue bubble indicates you are in Qualifying. A Yellow bubble indicates you are an Alternate for Qualifying. A dark green/grey bubble means you do not qualify for the event...
(If you view the Section Ranking list, and see a 'green' dot next to your name, it means you are EITHER in the Main Draw OR Qualifying event. The NSL list will show you which event you are in.)...Any questions, feel free to call us at 561.330.6003.
