LEVEL 1 MIDWEST USTA POINTS PER ROUND and NO NATIONAL POINTS PER ROUND (national points do not exist for BG10)
TOURNAMENT WILL BE A 64 DRAW SINGLES AND INCLUDE A FEED-IN CONSOLATION. Main Draw and Consolation will play a Matchtiebreak (Supertiebreak) in lieu of the third set. Two matches a day for the Main Draw and up to three matches per day for the Consolation. The FIC Consolation does not finish and it will stop at the Semi-finals due to the tournament lasting only three days. All matches will be played on a 78' court with a Green Dot Ball.
REMINDER: THIS IS A THREE DAY EVENT
This tournament ends on Monday. If you MUST go to school or parents MUST go to work on Monday, do NOT sign up for this event even if you think you will not "make it" till Monday. You must be Injured, Ill or there must be an Emergency for you to withdraw. The USTA Referee has the right to ask for Doctor's proof.

USTA/MIDWEST SECTION SEEDING & SELECTION CRITERIA
All USTA/Midwest Sectional and Designated Tournaments will adhere to the following Seeding and Selection Criteria : Players will be selected based on the most current USTA/Midwest Section BG10 Standing List at the time of the tournament entry deadline. Alternates will be numbered with this Midwest Standings List. Seeding will be done based on the USTA/Midwest Section Standing List the following week.
SCORING
All Main Draw and Consolation matches will play a Matchtiebreak (Supertiebreak) in lieu of the third set with advantage scoring on all matches. Some players may be playing up to three matches in a day. All matches will be played on a 78' court with a Green Dot Ball. A player will be entitled to a three minute break after splitting sets and before playing the Matchtiebreak where coaching is allowed only at the end of court by the tarp.

PRACTICE/WARM-UP COURTS
The MAC will be offering a limited amount of Practice Courts on Friday night, Full court for an hour for the rate of $20 per hour. Warm-Up Courts start Saturday and go through Monday and are on a Half Hour basis only. On Saturday we will have warm-up courts throughout the day for your convenience and for the later start times. You will need to pre-pay for the courts with a credit card and are not refundable.

The USTA Legal Department has determined that they cannot provide contact information to tournament directors unless the customer provides the contact information during the registration process. Previously the home phone number and email address were pre-filled from the USTA Membership database when a player went through the online registration process. The pre-fill was removed due to privacy concerns. If you don't provide an email address and/or telephone number when you register for this tournament then we will be unable to notify you about any possible changes in the tournament.
USTA/MIDWEST SECTIONS SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM AND SIGNING UP FOR TWO TOURNAMENTS.
Signing up for two events: The USTA Code of Conduct and Suspension Point System is in effect. You are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. The USTA/Midwest Section Junior Competition Committee has adopted a new Suspension Point System. All players will be given five (5) suspension points for entering two or more tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved agrees with the multiple entries in writing via e-mail. This applies to all players who signed up for the tournament including alternates.
USTA/MIDWEST SECTION DOMICILE RULES:
The USTA/Midwest Section Closed Junior Championships, the district qualifiers, the USTA/Midwest Section Designated Tournaments and USTA/Midwest Section Junior Davis & Wightman Cup events are open to citizens of the U.S., permanent resident aliens in possession of a valid alien registration card, individuals who are applicants for adjustment to lawful permanent resident status and who can present a USCIS receipt for a pending unadjudicated form I-485, aliens who have resided continuously in the US for more than one year and who are members of families of persons in the diplomatic or consular corps and aliens who have been granted Refugee Status, Asylee Status or Temporary Protected Status.
