DRAWS and SCHEDULE
**This is an outline of what will happen in the tournament. Because
of the structure of the online Tournament Data Manager program,
many of the draws cannot be posted on this website. However, boys
will play either Saturday morning or afternoon, while Girls will
play Sunday morning. Everyone will play singles and doubles, and
must play their entire rotation. Please read the information
below.
On Saturday morning, 4 groups of boys will play doubles first, then
singles. Only the following boys will play in the morning. Please
arrive at the club at 7:45 a.m. Play will commence at 8:00
a.m.
The groups are:
W - Jonathan Chan, David Iglesias, Tejas Miryala, Andrew Zhao
X - Arjun Bothra, Aryaman Gautam, Jason Pacheco, Bharadwaj
Tallapragada,
Y - Joshua Garcia, Jason Kim, Rushil Modali, Jayanth Rao
Z - Caleb Chan, Ishan Kar, Ankur Malik, Belal Ramadan
There will be 3 round robin doubles matches for each group, so that
each boy is partnered once with each of the other 3 players in his
group. The 3 matches will be played back-to-back. (Only one of
these doubles matches appears on this website.)
Based on the doubles results, every player will then be placed in a
corresponding singles draw, and will play 2 matches, no matter
whether they win or lose. None of the singles matches appear on
this website.
On Saturday afternoon, all the boys who did not play in the morning
(i.e. who are not listed above) will play singles first, then
doubles. Please arrive at the club at 12:45 p.m. Play will commence
at 1:00 p.m.
The singles matches are shown on this website. Please click on
Draws, and search through flights Red-A, Red-B, Red-C, Yellow-A,
Yellow-B, Yellow-C to find your name and match times. There are 3
rounds, which will be played back-to-back, and each player will
play 2 singles matches.
Based on the singles results, every player will then be placed in a
corresponding doubles draw, and will play 3 (or possibly 2)
matches, no matter whether they win or lose. None of these doubles
matches appear on this website.
On Sunday morning, all the girls will play singles first, then
doubles. Please arrive at the club at 8:45 a.m. Play will commence
at 9:00 a.m.
The singles matches are shown on this website. Please click on
Draws, and search through flights A1, A2, A3, P1, P2, P3 to find
your name and match times. There are 3 rounds, which will be played
back-to-back, and each player will play 2 singles matches.

corresponding doubles draw, and will play 3 (or possibly 2)
matches, no matter whether they win or lose. None of these doubles
matches appear on this website.
Winners will be determined by the number of matches won.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Do NOT rely on GPS. Warren Ave is CLOSED between Hwy 880 and
Warm Springs Blvd.
Please use these directions:
From highway 880 (going either north or south), exit at Warren Blvd
and go west (towards the Bay). The club is just past the Hyatt
Place Hotel on the right side of Warren, at the corner of Landing
Pkwy.
When going south on highway 680, take the Auto Mall Pkwy / Durham
Rd exit and go west (go right, toward the Bay) to Fremont Blvd.
Turn left and go to highway 880. Go south to Warren Ave, exit and
turn right. The club is just past the Hyatt Place Hotel.
When going north on highway 680, exit at Scott Creek Rd and go west
(toward the Bay) to Warm Springs Blvd. Turn left and go to Dixon
Landing Rd. Turn right and go to highway 880. Go right (north) to
Warren Ave, turn left onto Warren. The club is just past the Hyatt
Place Hotel.
ENTRY INFORMATION
It is not necessary to enter doubles separately. Everyone will be
paired up and will play doubles, which is included in the entry
fee.
This tournament uses the "Player Selection Process." After
submitting on online entry, the person's name is put on the
Applicant list. After the tournament processes the entries, which
might include drawing names out of the hat to pare the list down to
a manageable number of players, then the applicants who are
officially entered will receive a confirmation email and their
credit card will be charged for the fees.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
1. The Tournament Desk and courts are located at ClubSport Fremont,
46650 Landing Pkwy, at the corner of Warren Blvd, which is on the
west side of Hwy 880 at the south end of Fremont.
2. Family and friends are welcome to come watch.
3. All players and guests must sign in at Front Desk upon arrival.
Then, check-In at the Tournament Desk (near the gym) aprroximately
15 minutes before match time, and be fully ready walk onto the
court to play at that time. Unless notified otherwise by a
tournament worker, remain at the desk until your match is called.
(Please fill up your water bottle and use the restroom before
checking-in.) Be sure to check the times of your matches in all
rounds by clicking the Round # in the upper right of the draw
page.
4. Snack Bar hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
5. The total number of entries in the tournament is limited to 64.
If more than 64 entries are received by the deadline, we will
select players by lot. In other words, entry is NOT on a first
come, first served basis. If less than 64 players enter, everyone
will be "selected" and put into the tournament.
6. Each person will play on either Saturday or Sunday in a 4-5 hour
time block. Players will play BOTH singles and doubles in a round
robin format. If you sign up for the tournament, you are expected
to be available for the entire 4-5 hour block. Do not plan to leave
early or you may leave another player without an opponent. You will
find most starting times by clicking on "Draws" on sidebar, which
only appears after draws have been made and posted, which will be
done by Wednesday evening. Once you have found your flight, be sure
to check all the rounds (in the upper right corner) to see your
other match times.
7. Entrants will play 2 - 4 matches (win or lose) composed of one 5
game set, with a standard tie-break at 4-all.
8. Matches are played indoors and outdoors at the tournament's
discretion. Outdoor matches may be played under the lights. Matches
may be played in the evening, though it's unlikely.
9. If it rains, call 510-226-8500 ext.516 to find out if the
schedule has changed.
10. Complimentary snacks are available throughout tournament.
11. Ringers on all cell phones must be turned off when in the
tennis court area.
12. If a player must withdraw from the tournament before the entry
deadline, it can be done online at the entry website. If a player
must withdraw from the tournament after the entry deadline, contact
the Tournament Director at 510-226-8500 ext.516 AND at

13. Penn Control balls are used.
14. Many families fill out the online evaluation form after
completing the event. Please go to
