MANDATORY REGISTRATION
REGISTRATON - CHECK IN will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday afternoon at the Sonesta Resort (formerly the Crowne Plaza) (Salon F). It is MANDATORY that ALL players are registered before their first match. Birth Certificates (on file with Southern office - we do not need a copy), Medical Release forms and Fees must all be turned in before your first match. Registration will continue from 2 PM until 8 PM on Friday night. It will re-open at the Main Site, Shipyard, at 7:00 on Saturday morning, but only for players who had an EMERGENCY and were not able to make the 8:00 PM cut off on Friday night. (Please email the referee to them of your Saturday check in so we won't replace you in the draw on Friday night).

ACADEMY TRAINING SESSIONS
ACADEMY TRAINING SESSION AVAILABLE: Van Der Meer Tennis Academy is offering a discounted rate to all Bullfrog participants for sessions taking place from Monday - Friday from 10:00 to 12:00 PM. Afternoon sessions are Mon - Thu from 3:00 - 6:30 PM each day. The morning sessions are $25.00 and the afternoon sessions are $35.00. Please call 800-845-6138 to register in advance. ALTERNATES
Alternates by Event Report will be updated daily. Contact us immediately if you realize that you cannot come. It is the alternates' responsibility to check the website to see if your alternate status has changed. The tournament will make every effort to contact you if your status does change to being in the tournament. (If we have contact information for you.) You should make sure your contact information is correct on your membership profile. If you are unsure, please email additional contact information to the Tournament Director. Once an alternate is selected for play, payment is due immediately. If you plan to enter another tournament, you must withdraw as an Alternate prior to entering the other tournament.
An ORDERED ALTERNATES REPORT will be posted above. This is the order Alternates will be contacted for any open spots. 1) Contact Information-please email me the best contact information for you, such as a work phone or a cell phone. Below is the timeline detailing how much time you have to respond. 2) Payment-if you accept a spot, you must overnight your entry fee. Since you were not selected in the initial batch, your credit cards were never processed. An Alternate will not be listed as a competitor until the entry fee has been received. Please call the Tournament Director or Referee with your credit card information. We assume that you still want in the tournament as long as you are on the Alternates by Events List. Please contact us immediately if you want your name removed from the alternate list. It is the Alternate's responsibility to check the website to see if your alternate status has changed.

WITHDRAWALS AFTER SELECTION AND DURING TOURNAMENT
Withdrawing during the tournament, You MUST see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee. DO NOT tell anyone at the desk and think you have properly withdrawn. You must see the head referee in person or it will be counted as a “No Show” which carries a penalty of 5 suspension points. No telephone withdrawals will be accepted. The withdrawal must then be confirmed in writing (email) to the Referee: MsRabb@aol.com. Please be aware that if a player withdraws for any reason other than illness, injury, or a family emergency, suspension points can be given to that player. PLEASE NOTE IT IS THE PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE BEEN WITHDRAWN. If you do not get a confirmation back from us, please contact us again. NO Refunds will be issued for players withdrawing after Saturday, April 20th, 2013 after 8:00 AM as per Friend At Court National Regulations. Anyone withdrawing (for any reason) six (6) days prior to the tournament start date. Alternates may withdraw without penalty at anytime. Withdrawal BEFORE the registration closes on Sunday 4/15/11 11:59 pm Go to the Tournament website and click "EDIT REGISTRATION" on the right side of your screen and then follow the steps to withdraw. If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below "Withdraw" on the same page. You will need this number to complete the withdrawal process. We cannot withdraw you, you must do this yourself if it is before the registration of the tournament has closed.

DRESS CODE
For the Boys: Any T-shirts worn must be plain or tennis related. No underwear should be visible above waist band or below hemline. Shirts must be worn at all times. Shorts must be worn appropriately above pelvic bones. Sleeveless shirts are acceptable if made that way - no cutoffs. For the Girls: Any T-shirts must be plain or tennis related. Skirts and shorts must be worn appropriately above the pelvic bones. The bottom of your shirt must touch the top of your skirt or shorts while standing upright- shoulders back. This means do not roll down your skirts or shorts. Thank you for your cooperation.

ENTERING ANOTHER TOURNAMENT
Players are cautioned not to enter two tournaments at the same time. Suggestions to avoid being penalized: If you are listed on the Alternate List, you must with-draw from the Alternate List first and then enter the 2nd Tournament. Tournaments have been assigned different deadlines that will allow you time to make your changes. You can receive suspension points for entering two tournaments at the same time. All withdrawals: Alternates and Players must be in writing to the Head Referee. IT IS THE PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THEY HAVE BEEN WITHDRAWN FROM A TOURNAMENT.

SEEDS ARE NOW POSTED. If you have any questions on the seeding, please contac the Referee.

SEEDING
USTA Southern Level 1, 2 and 3 Tournaments. SINGLES SEEDING CRITERIA Seeding shall be done using only the results from most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which players appear on the list. Definition of Most Recently Published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists: Southern Designated Published List at least 8 days prior to tournament start. In addition to the list, other criteria to consider: Players who have a standing in the next younger age division MAY be CONSIDERED for seeding in any group of seeds if they are in the top 10 of the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of any younger age division. Players with current top 50 USTA National standing, top 100 ITF ranking, top 1000 ATP or WTA rankings should be considered for seeding. We will be using the list published on Tuesday, which will include play from the previous weekend. Seeds will be posted the same day. The Southern Seeding Calculator will be used. DOUBLES
DOUBLES REGISTRATION CLOSES on APRIL 19th - NO EXCEPTIONS. YOU MUST REGISTER TO PLAY IN THE SAME AGE DIVISION YOU ARE PLAYING IN SINGLES. Please go to the Doubles web site to register: Tournament ID #700038013 . BOTH players must sign up with your partner. IF you are only playing doubles, the fee will be $25.00 due at registration. LATE ENTRIES
LATE ENTRIES FOLLOW THIS SOUTHERN REGULATION: If you would like to be added as a late entry, please email the tournament referee (msrabb@aol.com) with your USTA #, Name and Age Division. Please know all late entries are placed at the bottom of the alternates list, so email us quickly. The names are placed on the list in order of receipt by email. (date and time) We usually have a lot of withdrawals before the tournament, so a lot of alternates do get into the draw. Players who will affect the seeding will not be selected unless a seed withdraws.

SELECTIONS
Top 64 players applying from the USTA/Southern latest Standing List..56 players from this age group will be selected and up to 8 players from the younger age group who are eligible for the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 80 of the younger age group, and are not in the selected 56, will be selected.

ENTERING TWO DIVISIONS
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: #1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected in the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternates lists for both division but would be obligated to play the division they first get in from the alternates list. They would be removed from the Alternates list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made. If you incorrectly registered for both age divisions and want to withdraw from one, please do so on line following the directions on this page under the headline: Withdrawals.

COURT SURFACES
Boys and Girls 14s will play on CLAY courts for Singles and Doubles. Boys and Girls 12s will play on HARD courts for Singles and Doubles.

MEDICAL TRAINER
A trainer will be on site at the main site, Shipyard. Remember that if you withdraw or retire due to an injury during the tournament, you have to speak directly to the Head Referee. Speaking to anyone else will result in a "Default-No Show" for your match. By law, trainers are not allowed to distribute any medicine. Please bring your own Tylenol, Advil, Aleve, or any other medications you may need. If you have an injury or illness we suggest that you see the trainer.

ON SITE ALTERNATES
All "On Site" alternates must register at the tournament desk at the Main Site, Van Der Meer Tennis Center. Please send an email to MSRabb@aol.com, if you plan to be an on site alternate. If you do this, then it is not necessary for you to be at registration on Friday. However, please send your contact information and medical release before Friday at 8 PM. On-Site Alternates will be selected in the order of the Alternates List, which is in order by Southern Standings with the late entries being added at the bottom. As an on site alternate, you will be required to arrive at the main site, SHIPYARD (ready to play) at least 15 minutes before the first match is scheduled for play in that age division. You will then need to remain at the main site until all the first round matches for your age division have started. You will check in at the main desk with the Tournament Referee.

RACQUET STRINGING
Racquets should be turned in at VDM Shipyard (SHIP) Tennis Pro Shop located at 116 Shipyard Drive (zip code - 29928) or the Van Der Meer Academy (VDM) Pro Shop located at 19 Deallyon Avenue.

POINT PENALTY SYSTEM
USTA Point Penalty System will be used. We suggest you show up at the site where you are scheduled to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled match time! (This allows time for you to travel to another site if you are at the wrong site). Point Penalty System will be enforced.

SCORING FORMAT
All main draw matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets. All consolation matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets with a tie-breaker in lieu of the 3rd set. The 3rd set tie-breaker will be a match tie-break played to 10 points with a margin of 2 points. The consolation will be a full feed-in consolation through the quarterfinals. There will be a play-off for 3rd and 4th place in the main draw in singles.

Physical Address: 116 Shipyard Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 (843-686-8804).Directions to Shipyard Racquet Club (SHIP): From the Van Der Meer Tennis Center, turn right on Cordillo Parkway. Go straight through the traffic light on Pope Avenue and into the entrance of Shipyard Plantation. (Shipyard Plantation is a gated community. Please notify the gate guard that you are attending a Van Der Meer Tennis Program to receive a day pass to enter the Plantation. Please obey all speed limit signs. They are strictly enforced!). Follow the main Shipyard Plantation road for 1 mile until it ends in a traffic circle onto Shipyard Drive. Follow for 1.5 miles and follow the signs towards the Sonesta Resort (formerly Crown Plaza). The Van Der Meer Shipyard Tennis Resort will be on your right. Turn into the parking lot and turn right - park in this lot.

When leaving Van Der Meer Shipyard take a left and follow Shipyyard Drive to the round-a-bout. Take the first right in the round-a-bout (Shipyard Road) and this will lead you through Shipyard Plantation. After exiting the Main Gate, take a right at the light onto Business 278 WEST (Up Island). Palmetto Dunes will be the next plantation on your right. After driving 1.5 miles, the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center will be on the left. Look for the sign.

VAN DER MEER (VDM) DIRECTIONS
Van Der Meer Tennis Center (VDM) 19 Deallyon Avenue, (zip code - 29928) Main Site for 12's. VDM Tennis Center from I-95, take exit 8 (Hilton Head Is) onto Hwy 278. Stay on Hwy 278 onto the island. At the north end of the island, Hwy 278 will fork... take left-hand fork onto the Cross Island Pkwy(Toll Road). Pay the toll and proceed until you reach the Sea Pines traffic circle. Take the second exit off of the circle onto Pope Avenue. At the second traffic light take a right onto Cordillo PKWY. Drive about 200 yards and take a left onto Deallyon Avenue. Drive past the Player's Club Resort entrance and turn right immediately after the Player's Club building.(You will see courts on both the left and right side of Deallyon).

CHAPLIN PARK DIRECTIONS (CHAP)

From the Van Der Meer Tennis Center (VDM), Exit the parking lot and turn right onto Cordillo Parkway. At the traffic light, turn left onto Pope Avenue. When you reach the traffic circle, take the first exit onto William Hilton Parkway/278 Business. Travel approx. 4.75 miles. Turn right toward the ocean on Singleton Beach Road. Go about 100 yards on Singleton Beach Road and take the first left onto Castnet Drive. The courts are immediately to your right.

HILTON BEACH & TENNIS DIRECTIONS (HBT)
Physical address: 40 Folly Field Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 (843-842-0079). Directions to Hilton Beach and Tennis (HBT): From the Van Der Meer Tennis Center (VDM), turn right onto Cordillo Parkway. At the traffic light, turn left onto Pope Avenue. When you reach the traffic cireclt, take the first exit onto William Hilton Parkway/278 Business. Travel approx. 5 miles. Turn right onto Folly Field Road. Resort is half a mile on the right. Pro shop and SBT headquartes are to the far right of the tennis courts as you approach from the security gate. (The tournament desk is located under the tent). NO PETS ARE ALLOWED AT THIS FACILITY.
