Attention doubles players!
All players that did not sign up with a partner in the same age and division were not put in a draw. It is against the tournament rules. The tournament rules are posted below in our notes section. Thank you and have a great tournament!

Attention all players and alternates
Thank You for applying for the tournament! This is a limied draw/tournament director selection tournament. Players in the novice and challenger divisions were selected by choosing the lower standing players first and the open division is selected based on a top down selection process. This selection process is determined by the usta. If you were not accepted then you were put on an alternate list and we will notify you if a spot opens up. You also will not be charged for your entry fee. This is a new tournament that was sanctioned this year. The problem with the usta sanctioning a new tournament and not a longstanding one is that we cannot prepare the amount of players ahead of time. We hate turning any players away and would like to give the most amount of players an opportunity to play. The forecast looks good for the weekend so we should have a fun tournament! Please check your start time on friday just in case your opponent has withdrawn and your schedule changes.

Attention all players!
There will be no 10s events in challenger or open divisions. This is a mistake. If you signed up for 10s challenger or open then please withdraw and sign up for something different. We have 10s orange and 12s green. Also there is 12s challenger and 14s novice. Play in orange and green divisions will be limited to 8 players so if you would like to make sure that you get into the tournament and you are a normal orange or green dot player then the yellow ball 12s challenger or 14s novice.

Draws
Draws will be posted no later than wed before 8am. Please only ck the internet for your start time. Phone requests for start times will not be accepted. Seeding will be done using norcal/usta standard seeding rules. Make sure to check your start time every day before and after the tournament. Rain and other factors may change the schedule. You are responsible for finding your start time and any changes to it.
Good Luck and

Match format
The Match format for singles is best of three sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a third set. Doubles will be an 8 game pro set. Open and Challenger players format is single elimination. Novice players format will be first round match loser consolation. All novice players will be guaranteed to have the opportunity to play 2 singles matches. Novice consolation matches will be 6 game pro set. There is a mandatory playoff for third and fourth place in all divisions. If you sign up for a novice singles division and there are no other or only one other entry, we may opt to put you in the challenger division. Same goes for Challenger to Open singles. We will only bump you up one division and/or age group not two and we will never move you down a division or age group in singles. Make sure to check other draws following these parameters if you cannot find the draw that you signed up for.
Please sign up for doubles with a partner before the deadline. You must have your partners usta # to sign up. This # can be found on the norcalusta website. Your partner must also sign up with you or you will not be put into the draw! All doubles players must sign up for doubles in the same age category and division that they signed up for in singles. The tournament will not move you up a division or age category in doubles if there are not enough entrants. Your entry into the doubles is free due to the combined entry fee. If you email the director we will put you on a "looking for a partner" list but cannot guarantee a partner. Please email us at least 1 week before the deadline or we will not be able to attempt to find a partner for you.

Most likely we will accept all players unless we have extreme large draws. We will follow the usta rules on the selection process if we do not accept all players. Eligibility to this tournament is open to all usta members that fall in the correct age brackets. If your birthday is during the same month of the tournament then you must play in the next higher age group. The seeding method that is used is whatever the current norcalusta list is on the day that we do the draws.
