*** Tournament Sschedules for the 2nd Weekend ***
The schedules for the second weekend are now posted.
This was done so we can compact those schedules when we account for the first weekend match results.
A very few matches were moved back from Sunday to Saturday, but many match times remain the same.

Directions from San Jose, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, 280, and 680: Go on South 101 towards Morgan Hill. Please take the Yerba Buena Road exit, NOT the Captiol Expressway Exit. This is a new exit opened on South 101.
Take the first left exit after San Felipe and park in the parking lot. Tennis courts are right behind the baseball field & NOT THE SOCCER FIELD.

Registration Issues, Withdraws, ... ***
[1] Until the closing of the registrations, you can withdraw yourself online with your confirmation number.
[2] After closing of registration, and until the posting of the draws, please submit any withdrawal in writing first by emailing both the td and the referee (see above), and then also call the TD (phone number above).
[3] After the posting of the draws, please first call the TD and then email both the TD and the referee.

*** Event Draws Information and Match Formats ***
[1] All Open Events: format will be Best of 3 TB Sets with a Match Tie-Break (10 points) in lieu of a 3rd Set. A mandatory playoff match will determine the 3rd and 4th winners.
[2] All Novice Events (Main Draws):format will be Best of 3 TB Sets with a Match Tie-Break (10 points) in lieu of a 3rd Set. A mandatory playoff match will determine the 3rd and 4th winners.
[3] All Novice Events (Consolation Draws): format will be a 8 games Pro Set. A 7 points tie-break will be played at 8-8.
[4] All Doubles Events: format will be a 8 games Pro Set. A 7 points tie-break will be played at 8-8.
[5] Regular scoring will be used.
[6] Be on time for your matches: check-in at the tournament desk 15 minutes before your scheduled match times and be ready to play. Penalties for lateness will be enforced.

Paid parking is available at the college parking lot and yellow colored ticket vending machines are located throughout the parking lot. Free Parking on Sundays.

There are 3 courts available very close-by to the tournament site (walking distance).
From the tournament site parking lot, go North through the parking lot. The courts are behind the soccer field.
The courts are available on a first come first serve basis. Please share!

When registering to the tournament, please make sure to provide your contact information (phone #s and email address) as we would otherwise be unable to reach you when needed (registration issues, schedule changes, withdraws, weather issues, ...).

The Niru's Tennis Academy proudly announces the Open &
Novice tournament will be held at the Evergreen Valley College.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, August 11, 2013 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
