PLEASE be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled match time. Both you and your opponent must be checked in so please be sure to visit the check in desk as soon as you are warmed up. Should both you and your opponenet arrive before match time and we have an open court...we can get you on court asap.

Bleachers are available for the center stadium court at the Independence location. If sitting there, the remaining 6 courts can be viewed as well. You are more than welcome to bring your own seating as well.

Appropriate tennis attire is required for all matches. Shorts or pants should have pockets.

If you are withdrawing from the tournament you MUST contact us ASAP! Refunds will not be given for withdrawls after the entries have been closed. If you DO NOT SHOW for your match you will be Defaulted which will lead to suspension regardless whether it is a Consolation Match or not. If you are running late, you MUST CALL us to let us know so. It is NOT fair to your opponent who is waiting for you at the site expecting to play a match. Players will be penalized for being late to their matches. Any withdraw from the tournament, after the draws have been posted, for any reason, including illness, injury or personal emergency, will result in a 2 point suspension issued by NorCal. Ten suspension points in a year, will result in a 3-month suspension from tournament play. Five suspension points will be issued for any default due to a no-show without prior notification to the tournament.

If you are running late, you MUST CALL us to let us know so. It is NOT fair to your opponent who is waiting for you at the site expecting to play a match. Players will be penalized for being late to their matches. 5 minutes or less: Loss of toss plus 1 game 5:01 - 10 minutes: Loss of toss plus 2 games 10:01 - 15 minutes: Loss of toss plus 3 games More than 15 minutes: default

PLEASE WARM UP BEFORE CHECKING IN! Once you are checked in that means that you are warmed up and READY to go, so once your opponent checks in your name will be called and it's Match Time!

Should there for any reason be a change in the draw, we will contact you via phone. If there is a chance of rain and the courts are wet, we update our tournament homepage and send out an email. You may also feel free to contact the weather hotline at 415.385.5308.

All singles matches will be the best of 3 sets, regular scoring, with a 10 point tie break in lieu of the 3rd set. Consolation rounds and Doubles will be an 8 Game Pro Set. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.
