Q. What is the format?
A. Each section sends a 6-person team to play approx. 4 matches. Each match is 3 doubles/6 singles.
Per www.usta.com/juniors, this is a Level 1 Ty.
Q. How is the team selected?
A. USTA MS sectional endorser issues 1-6 singles line-up based on the selection process.
Nationals can change this. Coach cannot change it. Coach selects 3 doubles pairs.
Each player plays daily and, by national rules, must play singles once. Middle States guidelines are
that #1-3 plays 4 singles matches and #4-6 play 3 singles matches. The singles line-up and doubles
pairings are daily selections. If a player is rotated out in singles, he will play doubles!
