Notes
The UA Fall Open will be held on Saturday, September 24 and
Sunday, September 25. Rain dates will be Monday, September 26 or
the weekend of Oct. 1-2 if necessary. --- This is a USTA sanctioned
tournament. Only current USTA members are eligible to participate.
--- Matches will be played at Upper Arlington High School, 1650
Ridgeview Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. --- Matches will begin
at 9:00 A.M. each day. There are ten hard courts at this site. ---
The entry fee will be $22 for singles and $20 per doubles team.
There will be a limit of 16 players in the singles divisions and 8
teams for the doubles divisions. Entries will be selected based on
the Midwest and OVTA standings lists. However, the tournament
committee reserves the right to select players at it's discretion.
Note: Players entering through the USTA Tennislink system will
appear on the "Applicants" list. Players entering through the COGP
online entry system will appear on the "Competitors" list. If there
are more than 16 entrants in singles or 8 teams in doubles, some
players will not be selected and will be placed on an "Alternates
List"--- In the junior singles divisions, all players are
guaranteed two matches. --- For the adult divisions and all doubles
draws, there will be no back draw. --- Because this is a two day
tournament, there will be no scheduling requests honored. Players
must be able to play at any time during the tournament. ---
Individuals are permitted to play just one singles event and one
doubles event. Individuals will be expected to play two singles
matches per day. If entered in singles and doubles, players will
play more than two matches each day.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, September 22, 2011 8:00:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
