The 4th Annual Pam Krone Memorial NTRP Tournament - A USTA NorCal NTRP Grand Slam

Congratulations to all of our Grand Slam Champions of the Fourth Annual Pam Krone Tournament. We want to thank all of you that participated and helped make this the biggest and hopefully the best Tahoe Donner tournament yet. We hope to see all of you back this September for our Senior Tournament at the end of the month and also next year as we once again look forward to hosting USTA Tournaments during the summer of 2013. We had a very competitive day of play featuring one third of our scheduled matches going the distance of a full third set. We have 5 matches that are still completing their Saturday play on Sunday morning at 7:30am. This will delay the start of a couple of our 8am matches on Sunday but please remember to check in at your scheduled start time as matches will be placed on court ASAP and we expect to get back on schedule quickly. All draws and times have been completed. Please check your first match times carefully as we have a busy weekend planned. Lateness rules will be in effect for all matches. Any of the matches that are scheduled later in the day Saturday and Sunday may be moved to earlier times so please check in with the tournament desk early and often to see if we can start those later matches earlier to avoid running out of daylight. This year the Pam Krone Memorial Tournament is a Grand Slam and that means more ranking points up for grabs and more tennis to be played. All divisions will be offering a 3rd/4th playoff during this years event. So lace up your sneakers extra tight and get ready to work a little harder for the title of Grand Slam Champion. All players participating in a USTA NorCal sanctioned NTRP tournament must have an NTRP rating. If you do not have an NTRP rating, please click "more info" to obtain a self-rating. more info

A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing. Players may play in concurrent tournaments provided those tournaments involved are advised of the conflict by the player prior to entry, and agree in writing to accept such concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If the player violates the rule against entering concurrent tournaments, such tournaments will not count toward ranking or Grand Prix points.
