The Tennessee State Closed Junior Tournament uses conduct rules above and beyond those enforced by the USTA. Players participating in tournaments hosted by The Tennessee State Closed Junior Tournament are required to abide by these facility rules of behavior on and off the court! These rules also apply to parents, coaches, siblings, and other supporters of the players. The list below indicates the Facility Behavior Rules: • NO use of the word “suck” or any form of the word spoken or spelled. • NO use of the expressions of frustration to deities (i.e. “Oh My God”, “God”, “Jesus”, “Jesus Christ”, “Christ”, etc. • NO use of “freaking”, “frigging”, “fricking”, or ANY variation of such words either spoken or spelled. Verbal rules apply to ALL sites. • NO Smoking anywhere on the premises. Premises include parking lots, bathrooms, and anywhere within 30 feet of a tennis court. • ALL Cell phones should be on Vibrate or Off. If you must make or take a call, do it away from play! This is a MAJOR distraction to players and spectators. • ABSOLUTELY NO cheering of a child’s unforced errors. This is unsportsmanlike and unacceptable! The USTA Point Penalty System will be in place for these and ALL USTA Rules and Regulations as stated in the Friend at Court (FAC). Anyone found in violation of these rules will be subject to a Code Violation and receiving suspension points. Parent’s and other player supporter’s violations will be directed at the player they are supporting. Thanks for your cooperation!!

MANDATORY REGISTRATION
A mandatory registration will be held at Champions Club on Friday, July 22 from 4 to 8 pm. It is extremely important that you attend this registration to receive tournament information. If for some reason, "you just cannot" make this registration, please fax your Medical Release Form and contact phone number to 423-870-4224. If you do not make the registration, the Tournament will not be responsible for informing you of changes to events and you will have to go directly to your match site prior to your playing time. Please be patient with us, we will be focused on putting matches on court and cannot predict how many participants miss regisration. Registering the day play begins is definitely a detriment to the tournament. Thanks for your understanding.
