WALKOVERS, WITHDRAWALS, & DEFAULTS: While players do sustain serious injuries or do become ill, players pulling out of tournaments have become too common. Please help ensure we promote play, not punish players. Any player who withdraws must notify the Referee immediately. Written verification of the reason must be delivered to tournament director.

SUPER TIE-BREAKERS: All Singles Matches will be 2 out of 3 Sets. All Consolation Matches will be 2 out of 3 sets. Super tie-breakers may be used in lieu of 3rd set if there is a large number of entries and/or weather delays.

START TIMES: Friday--Matches will not begin before 6:00 pm, Saturday--Matches will begin 9:00 am. Please check this website for any changes due to weather delays. Sunday will be used if weather delays start times on Friday and Saturday.

Call or text 865-389-5176 if an emergency delays your check-in. Traffic delays and player illness cannot be dealt with in an equitable manner if I cannot communicate and identify alternatives that will satisfy all parties concerned. My first priority is the remaining field of players who expect to proceed according to the official tournament schedule.

I will notify participants when inclement weather affects the tournament schedule using a group text message and email. If you do not provide a cell phone number and/or email address with your entry information, you must be present at the court site to receive revised match times.

MEDICAL RELEASE: Each player will be asked to sign an Oak Ridge City Recreation & Parks Department medical release form at check-in; 15 minutes prior to your match time.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, August 22, 2011 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
