Extra matches up to you and your opponent
We understand that many of the kids might have end of grade testing on Monday, weather permitting on Sunday if you would like to play extra matches on Sunday and you and your opponent agree to play we have no problem we will stay longer and be there for them, up to a degree. A little note to pass to all of you Jane at NCTA will use any results till 9 am on Monday towards the Tarheal Qualifier.

Boys and Girls 12's and 14's will be on CLAY courts at CHTC,
Boys and Girls 10's, 16's and 18's will be on HARD courts at CHTC and Southern Village

look on the left hand side where it says medical release form print it and bring it to tournament we will have extra at main site you must bring one before your first match to the site that you are playing at.

withdrawls and refunds
Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee. Each player that needs to withdrawl needs to send me an e-mail with their USTA number, and division they are withdrawing from.

Draws and Starting times may change
Due to players withdrawing your draw, opponent, times may be changed to a different time till noon on Friday. Please continue on checking the draws.

All singles matches will have a third set tie breaker in Liue of 3rd Set
Matches played with Tiebreak in Lieu of 3rd Set
A 3-minute Set Break will be taken after splitting sets. During this break the players may receive coaching on court. Players are not permitted to leave the court except for a legitimate toilet/change of attire break. A player taking a toilet/change of attire break, for which "reasonable time" is allowed (see court official), may receive coaching during that break. A player remaining on court while the opponent takes a toilet/change of attire break may receive coaching until their opponent returns. Cell phones may be used by players on court to receive coaching during the break. A player taking a toilet/change of attire break may also use a cell phone to receive coaching. Cell phones must be turned off at the end of the 3-minute set break.

doubles scoring
Doubles will consist of an 8 game pro set.

Doubles Sign up please
You must sign up with a partner and your parner must sign up with you for the tournament to accept you into doubles if both parties do not do that neither of you will be in the doubles.
We will not pick partners for you, you must have a partner to play doubles.
If you do not get selected into the tournament for singles and you still want to play doubles you can we will reimburse you part of the entry and only charge you $10 for doubles.

from the south: take 15/501 north to 15/501 bypass, 54 intersection. take 54 west (bypass) toward carrboro. follow 54 past the exit for greensboro st. westbrook dr. is the second left beyond greensboro st. (carolina apartments will be on the right). club dead ends on westbrook drive. from durham: take 15/501 bypass around chapel hill to its connection with 54 bypass. take 54 bypass west, see above. from raleigh: take i-40 to chapel hill and exit at 273a west onto 54 into chapel hill, then take 54 west bypass at glen lennox shopping center. follow 54 bypass and 15/501 toward carrboro, etc. see above.

Southern Village Directions
Southern Village Club 601 Brookgreen Drive Chapel Hill, NC 27516 Take I-40 to exit 273 A (NC 54 to Chapel Hill). Proceed west and turn right onto 54/15-501 (just after the overpass). Exit at 15/501 south Chapel Hill/Pittsboro, turn left off exit ramp towards Pittsboro. Follow 15/501south and Southern Village is 1/2 mile down on the right at Arlen Park Dr. Turn right onto Arlen Park Dr. Take another right onto Edgewater Circle at the 4-way stop. Stay on Edgewater Circle until you come to the stop sign at Brookgreen Dr, take a right. The club is on the left.

NCTA Rain Policy for all sanctioned tournaments
1. Any division where play has begun – no refund
2. Any division where no play has begun – a partial refund after deductions for actual
expenses.
3. All completed scores must be reported. Incomplete matches are recorded as
ABANDONED( match started but Referee decided not to complete) matches.
Matches never started are recorded as UNPLAYED
4. No tournament may reschedule without the approval of the S & S Committee.
5. If a tournament is unable to complete the tournament within the sanctioned dates,
no extensions will be allowed. The tournament will be over.
6. It is at the discretion of the tournament committee if the entire tournament is canceled
due to inclement weather.
7. Check the alternate scoring methods for inclement weather
8. Notify the NCTA of a cancellation.
9. Head tax is charged for any divisions where play has begun
10. COMMUNICATE with players or parents

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Friday, May 6, 2011 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
