This is a fun event for everyone so please respect your opponents at all times and have fun! Players who show poor sportsmanship and improper etiquette will not be invited back next year. This is your warning!
Parking is very limited around the Berkeley Tennis Center area and much of what is available is metered so please plan ahead.
The top eight players in the 12, 14, 16 and 18s age divisions will be selected and invited after the October 2010 Doubles Final Ranking Lists have been published.
All draws will be a round robin format. All matches will be played for 45 minutes (8 game Pro Set). After 45 minutes, "time" will be called and all matches will be stopped. There will be a five-minute break between each rotation. The team with the least amount of games lost will be the winner, the next least amount will be the runner-up, etc. If there is a tie for first place a head-to-head will determine the winners.
Each player will receive a NorCal 2010 HERB CUP sweatshirt for participating in the event.
Originallu planned, there would be lunch, but since the schdule has been pushed back o have the first matches start at 1:00pm, lunch will not be provied. Please eat before your first match. Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the tournament.
