PRACTICE COURTS
On Saturday and Sunday, all sites will be open by 7:00am. All the courts will be available until first matches start at approximately 8:00am. On Monday just ACC and OVP will be used. They will be open by 7am for practice as well before 8 oclocks. Once first matches begin, no warm up/practice courts will be available at any of the tournament sites. The clay courts at ACC and JMCC are reserved for member use,please do not use these courts for warm up / practice.
Off tournament sites to practice at: Bishop Park(705 Sunset Dr, Athens GA 30606) is right down from ACC. Herman C Michael Park is across the highway from OVP.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
The Medical Release Form is required by USTA Southern Section. The Medical Release must be signed by a parent or guardian. Please be sure to provide a telephone number where you can be reachded during the tournament. A signed form is extremely important in the event your child may need emergency medical assistance and you are not at the court site. Please download and bring with you to registration otherwise the form must be completed at registration. No player will be allowed on court without this form. SEEDING CRITERIA
SEEDS WILL BE PUBLISHED BY SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH.
The Bulldog Tournament Seeding Committee will follow the guidelines below issued by USTA Southern, effective January 2009. Seeding is based on the Selection List received from the Southern Tennis Association.
Seeding shall be done using only the results from most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which players appear on the list. Definition of Most Recently Published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists: Southern Level 3 * Published List used for Selections * tournament start. In addition to the list, other criteria to consider: Players who have a standing in the next younger age division may be seeded in any group of seeds if they are in the top 10 of the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of any younger age division. Players with current top 50 USTA National standing, top 100 ITF ranking, top 1000 ATP or WTA rankings should be considered for seeding.

WITHDRAW/REFUNDS
WITHDRAW POLICY: To receive a refund you must withdraw by noon on Saturday October 1st.Please understand that tournaments have fixed costs which include: Trophies, T-shirts, Balls, USTA Referees, and many other costs that we must cover. The TennisLink portion of your entry fee is non-refundable in accordance with USTA policy. Thank you for your understanding

UNFORTUNATELY, THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA WAS NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE THEIR FACILITIES FOR OUR EVENT THIS YEAR. WE HAVE ACQUIRED SEVERAL OTHER FACILITIES IN THE AREA AND ARE STILL LOOKING FORWARD TO ANOTHER GREAT TOURNAMENT IN ATHENS GEORGIA!

CHECK IN AT THE SITE YOU'RE PLAYING AT
THERE IS NO EARLY CHECK IN ON FRIDAY. CHECK IN WILL BE AT YOUR SITE YOU ARE PLAYING AT ON SATURDAY. PLEASE HAVE YOUR MEDICAL RELEASE FILLED OUT TO ASSIST WITH CHECK IN PROCEDURES.

ENTRY VIOLATIONS- DO NOT ENTER 2 TOURNEYS AT SAME TIME
Entering two tournaments at the same time is a violation of the USTA rules in the USTA Southern Section, and players may be assessed five (5) junior suspension points for violation of this rule. In "Friend at Court," USTA Tournament Regulation 1 N. 11 & 12 states: 11. "A player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments, if any part of the tournaments are scheduled to overlap unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing." 12. "A player shall not enter a tournament intending to withdraw if the player’s entry is accepted in another tournament. A player shall not enter a tournament with the intention of withdrawing if the player’s entry is accepted in another tournament, unless the Tournament Committee for the tournament in which the player has entered understands the situation and concurs with the contemplated action." If a player on the Alternate list wants to enter a different tournament, he/she must withdraw from this tournament before entering another one.

SELECTIONS AND ALTERNATES LISTS ARE NOW PUBLISHED.Please click on players by event in blue to see if you were selected. If you were not selected you can see what number alternate you are by clicking on the alternates by event reoprt in blue also. Plrease email me if you would like to be taken off the alternates list.
Selection Process
Because this is a Level 3 Event the following Selection Process is being used: Top 32 players applying from the usta/southern latest standings list. 28 players from this age group will be selected and up to 4 players from the younger age group who are eligible from the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 40 of the younger age group, and are not in the selected 28, will be selected. the names of the player who have been selected will appear as competitors. alternates are listed in the report section. do not refer to the alternates on the far left side of the web page (that list is not updated).
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: #1. players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. they would be removed from the other age division. #2. players not selected to either divisions would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alt. list. they would be removed from the alternate list in the other division. #3. players selected to one age division woud be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.
Seeding: will use the most current STA standings as of the deadline of the tournament, following the STA guidlines for including players from the younger age group that requested and qualifed for the older age group.

THIS IS A GEORGIA LEVEL 3 SUPER CHAMPIONSHIP AND A SOUTHERN
LEVEL 3 TOURNAMENT FOR BG 10-18. This tournament is sanctioned
Saturday-Monday. Since this tournament has a Southern Level 3
designation, the tournament is required to follow Southern
requirements. Boys/Girls 10s MUST play all matches on a 60' court
with a 25" racket and use low compression balls. The singles draws
are limited to 32, with a full FIC and 3/4 playoff in the main
draw. Scoring format: Regular scoring in the main draw for BG 12-18
short scoring with a 3rd set match tie-break for main draw for BG10
and all FICs. FIC finals may not be played. T-shirts. SUPER
CHAMPIONSHIPS - Open to all players regardless of ranking.
