Schedule of Play - Monday
Update
Doubles will start at 8:30am on Monday.
Since the country is changing to Daylight Savings Time this weekend we will be using the following schedule. We do not want anyone to miss their scheduled matches.We will start play at 8am on Saturday but will start at 9am on Sunday and Doubles will start at 8:30 am on Monday.

Draw information and B & G to Doubles
Saturday 3 PM: The current draws are correct with times and hopefully scores.
We will upload Sundays Future Match Times after ALL the singles have finshed for the day.
We have changed the boys and girls 10 Doubles draws to round robins. They will play to matches on Sunday.

Doubles Teams Extension to Saturday at 11AM
Hopefully you all realize that even though you did not sign up for Doubles initially you can still play.
In order to allow more players to get into doubles we will play doubles at the end of the day on Saturday. Doubles deadline will be 11am on Saturday and you may sign up at your playing site.

Doubles Selections / Find a Partner / Confirm Partnership
The selection of players for doubles events is as follows:
1. Players not automatically selected for singles will not be automatically selected for doubles.
2. Player selection for doubles will be in this order:
- Players selected for singles in the age group.
- Players selected for singles in any age group.
- Players not automatically for singles.
- Players applying for doubles only.
Doubles will start on the first day of the tournament after singles play. Once Selections are published you will have until NOON Sunday March 6th, to confirm your doubles partnership. You must have a doubles partner at the doubles deadline. Please follow the directions listed below to confirm your doubles partnership or obtain contact information for other players who do not have a partner.

Selections / Draws / First Match Times / Withdaw
The selections will be receive on Friday March 4th. They will be published by 3pm. Seedings will be published by 5 pm. Draws will be made on Sunday March 6th at Noon but will not be published until Thur at 5 pm. First Match Times will be published by 1pm on Wednesday March 9th. For Selection process see below.
To withdraw and receive a full refund you must do so by Noon on Sunday March 6th. By email only.

Friday Night Check in and Tournament Dinner
We will have the friday check in at Wood Park Community Center (1866 Highland Ave., Augusta, GA 30909). Directions: coming from I-20: exit I-20 at exit 196A and follow I-520 to exit 2 (wrightsboro rd) turn left onto wrightsboro road and follow 3 miles. You will pass Newman Tennis Center on your left, and go another mile to the corner of Highland Ave. The Air Port is on your right and as you turn it will remain on your right. Follow Highland Ave. for 1/4 mile and Wood Park Community Center will be on your left, before the Fire Station.
Check in and dinner will be from 5 to 8 pm. All players, parents and family, and coaches are welcome.
If you do not check in on Friday Night you must check in at Newman Tennis Center on Saturday at least one hour prior to your first match.

Selection Process
Because this is a Level 3 STA Event the following Selection Process is being used: Top 32 players applying from the usta/southern latest standings list. 28 players from this age group will be selected and up to 4 players from the younger age group who are eligible from the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 40 of the younger age group, and are not in the selected 28, will be selected. the names of the player who have been selected will appear as competitors. alternates are listed in the report section. do not refer to the alternates on the far left side of the web page (that list is not updated).
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: #1. players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. they would be removed from the other age division. #2. players not selected to either divisions would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alt. list. they would be removed from the alternate list in the other division. #3. players selected to one age division woud be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

Playing Format and Scoring
Draws will be 32 players with a Full Feed in Consolation through the Quarters and 3/4 playoff. Main Draw will play the best two out of three tie-break sets. Feed-in Consolation and Boys and Girls 10's will be the best of three sets playing a 10 point match tie-break in lieu of the third set. In the event of inclement weather, match format is subject to change. The Finals of the Consolation will not be scheduled and will not be played. Boys and Girls 10's will be played on 60 foot courts with low compression balls.

Dress Code
The Tournament committee has set A dress code in this Tournament The Rules to which all participants are expected to adhere. These Rules are based on our community standards and all participants must observe, all rules, at all of the sites used during the tournament. Good manners on and off the court will be required of all participants, coaches and family at all times.
Proper tennis attire should be worn. For females, proper attire does not include, roll down waist bands on skirts or shorts, or exposure of skin between tops and skirts or shorts. For males proper attire does not include tank tops or sleeveless shirts, or shorts worn below the waist. Shirts must be worn at all times. Please respect our standards and adhere to our rules. Failure to do so will result in the player being required to change prior to the match. This delay may result in penalties (PPS) being assessed .

Balls used for Play
We will be using USPTA Pro Penn Extra Duty tennis balls for this tournament.

THIS IS A GEORGIA LEVEL 3 SUPER CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR BG 10-18. THIS
IS ALSO A SOUTHERN LEVEL 3 TOURNAMENT. The tournament is sanctioned
Saturday-Monday. Since this tournament has a Southern Level 3
designation, the tournament is required to follow Southern
requirements. The draws are limited to 32, with a full FIC and 3/4
playoff in the main draw. The scoring format is 2 out of 3 sets,
regular scoring in the main draw best of 2 sets with a 3rd set
match tie-break in the FIC. FIC finals may not be played.
Consolation and B & G 10 Singles Scoring will be the best of 2
sets with a Match Tie-Break in lieu of the third set. Boys/Girls 10
& Under divisions must play all matches on a 60' court with a
25" racket and use low compression balls. In the event of inclement
weather and alternate scoring system may be used. Officials: Roving
Umpires will be used. Players are encouraged to use hotels listed
on the entry form. Doubles will play an 8 game Pro Set. Early Check
in and the tournament dinner will be from 5-8 PM March 11th at Wood
Park. Please see directions in the Notes. For information about

the USTA's On-line registration. SUPER CHAMPIONSHIP - Open to all
players regardless of ranking. No refunds are made when players
withdraw after the draw has been made.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. Please consult your Section or District rules and regulations for entry requirements for this tournament. If you enter this tournament and are not eligible, any refund is as the discretion of the Tournament Director. Only USTA members can register online if available.
