CONSOLATION DRAW PROBLEM
The names of the players are not being displayed in the 32, 16 and Quarterfinal consolation draws. I have notified USTA of the problem and they are looking at it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Because this is a modified feedin consolation draw, there are multiple consolation draws. If you lost in the first or second round your name will be in the consolation part of the '55 Singles' Draw. If you lost in the third round you are supposed tol be in the 'Round of 32 Consolation' Draw. If you lost in the fourth round you are suppose to be in the ''Round of 16 Consolation' Draw. U

Singles consolation is a modified feed-in sometimes referred to
as a "layered consolation." This means that the first and second
round losers will play in there own consolation and each subsequent
round will have their own consolation. The benefit is that after
the first day or two you should have only one singles match to play
each day. The doubles consolation is a first-match-losers. All
consolation matches will consist of two sets and a match tiebreak
in lieu of a third set.
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Saturday, September 22, 2007 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
