Attire:
WHITE TENNIS ATTIRE IS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES DURING PRACTICE OR PLAY. White attire is interpreted to mean a white outfit with less than 15% colored trim. Non-white warm-up apparel, including sweaters and caps, may be worn at any time.

Singles:
Entries close on Tuesday, August 28th at 5:00 p.m. Draws for both 75 and 80 Singles events will be made on Saturday, September 1st and posted on the Internet on Tuesday, September 4th. Play begins on Monday, September 10th for both 75 and 80 Singles.

Doubles:
Entries close on Tuesday, August 28th at 5:00 p.m. Partners must be established by 12:00 Noon on Monday, September 10th for the draws at 1:00 p.m. for both 75 and 80 Doubles. The Director will not match-up partners. Play begins on Tuesday, September 11th for both 75 and 80 Doubles.

Consolations:
There will be consolation Singles and Doubles for first-match losers. SIGNUP IS REQUIRED. Consolation play for Singles start on Tuesday; for Doubles on Wednesday.

Check-In:
Players may check-in early on Sunday, September 9th from Noon until 4:00 p.m. or after 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10th.

Rules for Play:
The Tournament Referee will set the time for matches. It is the players responsibility to ascertain the time of their matches. Times for the Singles matches will be posted on the tournament website after the draws are posted on Tuesday, September 4th. Times for the Doubles matches will be posted following the draws on Monday, September 10th. Players should report to the Tournament Operations desk 15-minutes before the scheduled times of their matches. There will be a 15-minute default time.

Rules for Practice:
Players shall be issued an Army Navy Country Club Temporary "guest" number for use of tennis courts and Club facilities beginning Friday, September 7 through Sunday, September 16. Players may sign-up in the Tennis Pro Shop for a space available practice court on Friday, September 7 or Saturday, September 8 at the applicable daily guest fee (weekdays $5; Saturday $10). Players may sign-up for a practice court beginning 12-noon on Sunday, September 9 without a guest fee. During the tournament, September 10-16, Army Navy Country Club members have priority over the few courts not being used for the tournament.

Special Hotel Rates:
Arrangements have been made with the Comfort Inn Pentagon (703-682-5500) and Best Western Pentagon (703-979-4400) for special rates for players and their families. These hotels provide complementary breakfast and shuttle bus transportation to the Army Navy Country Club. Mention the Army Navy Senior Tennis Tournament to receive the preferred rate.

Dining:
Club dining facilities will be open to players and guests (closed on Mondays). A complementary buffet lunch will be served in the Tennis Pro Shop on Monday, September 10 for players and their wives/companions. Complementary coffee and pastries will be provided at approximately 9:00 a.m. in the Tennis Pro Shop. Players must use their "guest" number for purchases in the Grill Room, Dining Room, Snack Bar and Pro Shop. A bill will be sent to you at your home address after the tournament.

Banquet:
Players and their companion are invited to a banquet in the main clubhouse ballroom at Army Navy Country Club on Wednesday, September 12. The bar will open at 6:30 p.m. Players must purchase tickets for cocktails/beer/wine/sodas from the ticket bar cashier to use at the bar. Dinner will be served at 7:15 p.m. (DRESS CODE FOR THE BANQUET IS COAT AND TIE FOR THE GENTLEMEN).

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28 2007. Only USTA members can register online if available.
