USTA National Men's 75 & 80 Grass Court Championships

Entries close on Wednesday, August 23rd. Draws for both Singles events will be made on Tuesday, August 29th. Play begins Tuesday, September 5th. ALL WHITE TENNIS ATTIRE IS REQUIRED DURING PRACTICE OR PLAY. T-SHIRTS ARE PROHIBITED.

Entries close on Tuesday, September 5th at 4:00 PM. Draws for both Doubles events will be made on Tuesday, September 5th at 6:00 PM. Play begins Thursday, September 7th. A sign-up list will be available at the Tournament Desk for players looking for a partner. The Director will not match up partners without approval by both players.

There will be a consolation Singles and Doubles for first-match losers. SIGNUP IS REQUIRED. Consolation play usually begins on Wednesday afternoon. Match tie-breaks (first to ten with a margin of two) will be played in lieu of third sets.

Players may check-in early on Monday, September 4th after 1:00 PM, or after 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 5th.

A few grass courts will be available for practice on Monday, September 4th after 1:00 PM. Please check at the tournament desk for court assignments. Practice must be limited out of consideration for our members during Labor Day. Times of the matches will be set by the Tournament Director. It is the player's responsibility to ascertain the time of their matches, so please check the tournament website after the draws are posted on Tuesday, August 29th. Players should report to the Tournament desk 15-minutes before the scheduled time of their matches. There will be a 15-minute default time.

Arrangements have been made with the Ramada Inn and the Turtle Brook Inn for special rates for players and their families. Mention USTA Senior Men's Grass Court Championships to receive the preferred rate. Individuals pay their own charges directly. Reservations must be called in by August 24th. Club dining facilities will be open to players and guests (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). Each player will be provided with an OLTC Guest Card and special charge account number to be used in the dining room, snack bar and pro shop. A bill will be sent to you after the tournament. For evening dining, dress is business casual. Courtside fruit, buns, soft drinks, etc. are complimentary.

A banquet dinner party for players and guests will be held at the Club on Wednesday, September 6th. Cocktails will start at 6:30 p.m., and dinner will be served promptly at 7:30 p.m. Players will be guests of the Tournament Committee. Non-players charge will be $50. The Bar will be a “Cash Bar.”
