Arrival for play-Tardiness - message re-posted - 09/10 - 7:30 PM Please arrive within 20 minutes of your start times. Once your match is called and you are not checked in the clock is ticking. If you are 1-5 minutes late you will have a 1 game penalty, 6-10 minutes 2 game penalty, 11-15 minutes late 3 game penalty, more than 16 minutes you will be defaulted. I hope I do not have to impose these on the players, but we want to stay on schedule as best as possible. depending on length of matches some matches may not be on time. You should not assume this though. The times published is when the match is likely to be called. Thank you for your patience and consideration.

FMLC *or* CONSOLATION explanation - message posted - 04/1 - 8:00am A first Match Loss Consolation or Consolation event can be confusing. Example: a player is playing their second match against a player that is playing their first match. If the player that is playing their second match loses, they are out of the tournament. If the player that is playing their first match loses, they will be placed in the back draw. This creates some confusion because the schedule is generated under the premise that the player that is playing their first match always loses. This is often not the case. When that happens, the back draw schedule is impacted. For example, Using players 1 through 4. #1 has a bye, player 3 defeats #4. #4 is now in the back draw. If #1 loses to #3, then #4 players #1. A withdraw must be e-mailed to ebendonkortennis@gmail.com no later than Thursday at 12 Noon to ensure that players name will not be included in the official draw posted on the web. Phone calls will not be accepted. If withdrawing before the deadline and have registered online, it is the responsibility of the player to withdraw his or her name from the applicant list by using the withdraw feature online.

10&Unders: 10&U Orange Ball Level 1 and Level 2 tournaments will be played on 60' courts with orange balls and racquets that are 25" or shorter. Director will be checking racquets before first matches.

MAS Regulations and Ranking Points This tournament operates in accordance with the rules and guidelines listed in USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations and USTA Friend at Court. Players are eligible to earn ranking points from this event based on the point tables found in the USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations. Points are awarded based on the level of the tournament and the draw format. Main draw and consolation points may vary based on the draw format used. For example an FIC vs FMLC.

**MAS Level 6 Tournament Qualities**
Recommended for Intermediate players with competition experience and success at L7. Individual divisions are played to completion in not more than 2-Days(Ex1: BG18-12 play Sat&Sun. Ex2: G18-12 play Sat&Sun. / B18-12 play Sat&Sun.) Match Format: Singles = 2 Sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set or 2 short sets with match tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set (indoor season only) Doubles = 8-Game ProSet Draw Formats:Outdoor Season (mid-March thru October): FIC, FMLC or RR.Indoor Season (November thru mid-March): 2-Match Guarantee Recommended.
