USTA/ITA Div.III Womens Southern Regional Championship

We would like to invite you to participate in the South Region USTA/ITA Small College Regional Championship,hosted by Huntingdon College. This championship event will take place at Lagoon Park in Montgomery, Alabama on September 21-23,2012 with the 24th of September as a possible rain date.

The singles and doubles champion(s) from this regional event will earn an automatic berth to the 2012 USTA/ITA National Small College Championships, which is scheduled for October 11-14, 2012 hosted by the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama. Also as in the past, the winners of the Small College Super Bowl will receive wildcards into the Division I USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships,November 8-11, 2012 at the Billie JeanKing National TennisCenter in Flushing Meadows, NY).

The entry fees for the 2012 USTA/ITA Small College Regional Championships are $35 per singles player and $45 per doubles team (this includes main and “B” draws unless otherwise noted). Additionally,the Operating Committee decided that entry fees must be paid, and no refunds shall be issued, once the draw has been made (i.e. late withdrawal, etc.) Information regarding player registration will be sent to you once it becomes available.

Please note that in order to participate in a USTA/ITA Regional Championship, you and/or your institution must be a current member of the ITA for the 2011-12 academic year. This membership must be renewed through the ITA prior to the start of the event. Membership information and form are also available on the ITA website at www.itatennis.com. Remember that only current ITA members will be permitted to participate.
