Doubles Consolation
Consolation in both the 60 & 65 doubles will begin Wednesday.

65's Singles Consolation and 60's and 65's Doubles
Participation in the consolation bracket in the 65's singles and both the 60's and 65's Doubles will be based on a SIGN-UP basis ONLY. YOU MUST SIGN-UP IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR MATCH TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONSOLATION.
65's Singles will offer a 1st and 2nd round consolation bracket.
60's & 65's doubles will offer a first match losers consolation bracket.

Please check your draw in the Men's 65 Singles event. The event has been redrawn due to changes in the seedings.

Men's 60 Singles Consolation Information
In the Men's 60 Singles, the consolation round will be a FEED IN thru the round of 32. Players will be placed automatically in the consolation(no sign-up required). If you choose to not participate in the consolation please inform the tournament desk.

Match Scheduling per Event
In the Men's 60's Singles Event, we will play both the round of 128 and the round of 64 on Monday. That means everyone in the Men's 60's Singles will play a match on the first day of the tournament. We may also play one round of the consolation draw on the first day. Any singles players or doubles teams not receiving a bye in the first round of the 60 Doubles, 65 Singles and 65 Doubles will also play on Monday, the first day of the tournament. We hope this helps with your travel plans.

Fitness Center
A separate pair of shoes must be worn in the fitness center that have ever been on a tennis court.

NO Pets are allowed on the premises

DRESS CODE
Club Dress Code rules require a traditional collared shirt or a NOLTC logo t-shirt. Shirts may not have any printed material on the front or back. A small logo on the upper chest or sleeve is permitted. Tennis shoes are required. No other type of shoes will be allowed on the courts. Dress code applies to warm up and tournament play. Shirts must have sleeves. Any colors are allowed, we are not an all white attire club.Caps must be worn with brim facing forward.

The Registration Deadline is the same for both Singles and Doubles.

Schedule
This information is designed to help everyone make their travel plans, however it may change depending on number of entrants and weather. The first round of singles and doubles in both age divisions is scheduled to start on Monday, October 14th. Assuming we have singles draws of 64, the tournament will finish on Saturday the 19th. If it rains the tournament will finish on Sunday the 20th.

Practice Courts
Starting Friday, October 11th tournament players may use the courts at the New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club for practice free of charge. Players must abide by the dress code and sign-in on the member log for a court. Upon arrival please speak with the pro shop attendant for further rules regarding court use.

Event Limitations and Rest Periods
Participants may compete in two events. However only 1 singles and 1 doubles or 2 doubles events are permissible( not 2 singles). Should a player choose to play 2 doubles events his rest time between matches may be 30 minutes(2013 Friend at Court Pg.104 Minimum rest between matches)

Player Parties
There will be two parties offered to players and their guests. One will be held at NOLTC and the other will be offsite. Jackets are preferred for the dinner at Harrah's, and jackets are REQUIRED for the dinner at the club. NOLTC has a strict rule that jackets are reqiured for the dinner at the club. The parties are scheduled for Wednesday night at Harrah's Hotel, and then Thursday night at NOLTC.

ITF Sanction - Grade A National Championship. We will continue to use all factors seeding. Foreign players can obtain a free USTA account for entry by going to https://www.usta.com/en/home/account/create-account.html, or register directly with the tournament director. This tournament is sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) as a national championship. Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. This tournament is a USTA CAT 1 National Championship and fulfills the eligibility requirement for USTA CUP selection. The Coman tiebreak will be used.
